QUOTE(yehlai @ Jun 17 2011, 11:21 PM) This plan is not attractive at all for low call users. better wait for Digi package: discounted phone price + unlimited data Yes..I won't take Maxis..its too expensive for me as my monthly call/SMS usage wont exceed RM60 By the way,I'm using DG50..will change it to DG Smartplan RM68 when I get SGS II

QUOTE(jcst83 @ Jun 18 2011, 12:44 AM) yes not suitable for handphone due to...it din't have sim card for u ....XD... oooh..now that I read properly..seems it's more of a mobile broadband than a phone line. Oh well..U-mobile's package is not bad as well. I just think the packages from the main telcos are really expensive

QUOTE(jcst83 @ Jun 18 2011, 12:44 AM) yes not suitable for handphone due to...it din't have sim card for u ....XD... It is very suitable for handphone - why not suitable ??? You use YES as a wireless point ; you don't need simcard for YES services Especially in areas of coverage, download speeds is extremely fast. Just use your phone , search for wireless - connect to it. It is about at least 4-5X faster than normal wireless and 6-8X faster than 3G. Minimum is RM 30/month - if you need lots of data can subscribe to their various plans I was in KL few days using it - excellent ; use it and you do not wish to use your 3G or connect to any of those free WiFI hotspots anymore

Just treat the YES device as a portable wireless hotspot..pretty cool! This post has been edited by gingerman2408: Jun 18 2011, 02:29 AM

(sorry ya, i m not well verse with windows base pc, pinjam laptop just to flash) standard things to try, run as administrator, if still cant work, delete files and redownload.. -edit- oh yeah.. try closing your antivirus if open, some AV detects odin as a virus or malware This post has been edited by bansai: Jun 18 2011, 03:10 AM

Eh, this thread is about Galaxy S II why talking about mobile phone plan packages? I know it came with the phone plan at an attractive price, but please if you wanna ask questions about mobile plans, please do so in carrier thread; Maxis/Digi/Celcom. Else this thread become hard for people seeking info about this phone. If insist of talking about mobile plan that comes with this phone, please keep it short. By the way, anyone owned this phone yet? I mean officially from Samsung Malaysia with Southeast Asian Region ROM and hardware. Coz as I know, Galaxy S II has two versions; one with SAMOLED PLUS display + Orion SoC, AND another one with Super LCD + Tegra2. I suspected Southeast Asian version of Galaxy S II is the Super LCD one, as the price of RRP RM2099 is just too cheap compared to HTC Sensation.

(sorry ya, i m not well verse with windows base pc, pinjam laptop just to flash) you have to extract the 'ini' file too from the zip file.. not just Odin.exe.. place both files in one folder This post has been edited by pcboy: Jun 18 2011, 06:05 AM
