you have to extract the 'ini' file too from the zip file.. not just Odin.exe.. place both files in one folder

Thanks, will work on that.

Thanks guys for the earlier advice on how to get the odin working. Manage to flash to lite'ning 1.4 but battery seems to be draining faster then my stock haha. Will let it run a couple of days and see if it sets in.

I just got my phone yesterday, flash litening rom right away. Today using it with alot whatsapp messaging. 6hrs+ left 30% battery.. not very satisfied.

I just flash Villain rom since alot user report great battery life. Will see tomorrow after a day use.. What I don't like about VillainRom is, the themes are same as stock... No CRT off animation on lock.. =(

yup same here, running on lite'ning rom and the battery drains lightning fast too.

I have been testing roms from Cognito, TK, Angelo, villian to find the best for battery life. All these roms not much difference in performance. I have not tested litening as quite several users reported bad battery life. However I was surprised litening 1.4 gives me best to date
On the other roms including several official fw, on standby Overnight ( midnite till 7am ) with active update, refresh data ( 3 mail accounts every 15 mins, tweeter, several news feed every 30min and 60 min) the drop is usually in the range of 25 to 30%.  Litening 1.4 i noted was just less than 10%
Day use I do not really monitor as phone always on charge on desk or in car

So far i have not tested other roms you mentioned so i cant really give any comparison. Simply comparing it with stock rom, i think the litening is way smoother running Go Launcher. So far, i m getting 8 hours of medium usage (2 push mails, FB, whatsapp and 30 mins surfing) with 62% juice remaining for today. For me, as long as the phone can last a good 10 hours, i m fine with it.... can always charge it when i m home.

Anyway benny, since u seem to be very well versed with smartphones, would you be kind enough to look into one issue i m facing? Upon check the battery status, it shows that the Android OS is taking up 33%. Is it normal? Thanks in advance.

Any SGS2 users here used the Xperia Arc before? I just played with my fren's Arc and the pictures taken by the Arc is simply amazing!

Can the pictures taken by the SGS2 comparable to the Xperia Arc if not better?  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

I have both sgs2 and arc (wife's phone). I have to say both cameras are on par and takes great pictures.

The arc has better noise control over the sgs2 while on the other hand the sgs2 has better color saturation and fast focusing speed. Overall, both are good for normal day use.
