Easiest calculation:

RM799 + (30+78)*6% Svc Tax * 24 mths contract = RM3546.52

it's the minimum calculation,meaning u only make call/sms and 3GB data within 24 mths contract or you r not using the line and pay the minum for the next 24 mths

actualy, just look at their other phone bundles and u can see u need to pay quite a bit upfront...

This is like watching the pre-iPhone launch days all over again lol.

I'm okay and all set as far as carrier goes, staunch supporter of Celcom and their not so "cekik darah" data billing practices.

worth it or not solely based on individual's view.

there are people ported-out from maxis but ended up port-in again

why?maybe maxis having the largest network coverage?

RM50+RM88-RM10 ?
Maxis is really good in doing busines.

Digi is only RM68-RM10 (not incld call/sms) unlimited data. 15 cents/min, 10 cents/SMS.

i get my SGS2 for RM1250 only, better than Maxis RM799 deal anytime.

You wanna save money but end up paying more.
RM50*24+RM799 = RM1999

in the end you only saved RM100

RM88, I can easilly get it with Digi unlimited data package.
RM63 (unlimited data) + RM25 (call/SMS)

Digi is you pay only if you use it.

A naughty bird just flew in and told me this...

We need to pay...

1st month : RM2,099 + [Value plan] + [3GB data] - [rebate RM58]
2nd month onwards : [Value plan] + [3GB data] - [rebate RM54]

So total rebate is RM58 + [RM54*23] = RM1300, hence making the phone : RM2,099-RM1,300 = RM799

Now, if your Value plan is RM30, 3GB data is RM88 (-RM10), then...

1st month, you pay RM2,099 + RM30 + RM78 - RM58 = RM2,149
Subsequently, you pay RM 30 + RM78 - RM54 = RM54

So, Maxis collects your money upfront and earn interest...hehehe!!!
