haha.. i have the same issue... update 2 apps from market 10% battery lost... n sumtimes my battery temp goes up to 41 degree eventhough i am idle.. i want to change back to litening..

changed from angelom rom to villian..hope can reduces battery drain

who knows if we can share lan internet to android via vpn?

24 hours on villain rom with vrtweaks battery drain is about 60%..
some user in xda reported to have 2day and a half on battery

battery on villain rom is the best.. trust me.. have been villain user for the past 3days... battery drop around 60 percent a day on average usage.. see my signature i am a supporter..

+1...i think half of V5 thread is all about getting the phone rather than user experience..

btw this is my experience using a couple of rom
angelom rom= the latest version suck the battery juice out.. but comes with a lot of useful apps.. the UI and the status bar icon is nice..but to colourful as i like simple and elegant
litening rom= i like the blueish mode..very elegant..love the notification bar.. the battery life is good
villain rom= this is my favaurite for now coz it give me the highest battery life.. 60% a day..it come with villaintweaks which is good because u can choose what fix that u want.. and most of the devs in xda make theme for this rom..

use 60 %.. ... every day use it to play games, customize nonstop, data plan always on

just go to xda thread, there are a lot of themes for villain rom.. or install vrtweaks u can have customize status bar and crt effect fix...

i have question about XXKF2 modem..
its says that flash via CWM.. so is it flash an update or flash kernal? or need to go to recovery mod?

for new user i recommend villain 1.2 with modem XXKE4 or XXKE7
so far i get the best signal from this phone..
i am on a remote area teronoh perak now..
can watch u tube without buffering at 5pm using celcom..

Since many member pm me how to flash villain rom i try to provide some instruction

Step 1: To install villain rom, CF Root is a must, try to use the latest CF root 4.0..
download CF Root 4.0巋笒痩 and apply using odin
- Follow these instructions to the letter. Do not touch any buttons or checkboxes that are not listed below to touch!
- Unzip the attached CF-Root-xxx-vX.X.zip
- (USB) Disconnect your phone from your computer
- Start ODIN
- Click the PDA button, and select CF-Root-xxx-vX.X.tar
- Put your phone in download mode ( shut down ur phone and then press volumedown+power+home button)
- (USB) Connect the phone to your computer ( need to install kies or android sdk usb driver, find it in the first page)
- Make sure repartition is NOT checked
- Click the START button
- Wait for the phone to reboot
- Done and u must have CWM apps in u apps drawer


Step 2: Download the latest Villain Rom痩and copy the file into ur sdcard via usb.. (usb debugging mode is must)
Step 3: Try to backup data using titanium backup or nandroid in case u need to wipe data partition

Step 4: Boot to CWM recovery mode

Step 5: if required wipe data, this will optimised the system if u are coming from different and have flashed many rom before..

Step 6: Install the Villain rom zip through Install zip From SD card

Step 7: reboot( take about 5 to 10 minutes)
Step 8: Enjoy villain rom.. free your android( try install vrtweaks to apply fix)

Requirement: i) Of coz ur phone
ii) Accurate theme.zip
iii) time
iv) root
v) Risk taker


Step 1: Find your desired theme here揠盝
Step 2: Find the correct zip file according to your stock rom or custom rom
Step 3: Put the theme.zip in your sdcard
Step 4: Reboot to cwm recovery mode
Step 5: Use install zip from sdcard option and locate ur theme.zip
Step 6: Flash and reboot
