QUOTE(ayiesz @ Nov 18 2005, 09:50 AM) here's mine it's easy actuallyrunning on stock cooling idle 39'C load 54'C FSB:DDR 1:0.6 HT 3x about the ram, how to calculate it actually? i'm confused a bit. if you're in the bios.... the ram is on divider with the 'FSB' but for CPU-Z reading, it's divided from the clockspeed... because K8 cpu has no FSB so when you're overclocking from the bios... you just calculate it using your fsb speed. no prob. |

n, does the DFI LP nF3 250Gb still have the Marvell SATA limitation controller error when you o/c ? "The second problem is that the Serial ATA ports numbered 1 and 2 are implemented through an additional PHY controller from Marvell. This controller is very capricious about high clock-gen frequencies, and Serial ATA drives attached to this controller's ports stop to work even at a slightest overclocking. So, you should disable the first two Serial ATA ports when overclocking the DFI LANPARTY UT nF3 250Gb and use only ports 3 and 4 which are attached directly to the chipset." - http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/displ...ron-2600_8.html or.. Did they solve this problem already with the latest bios ? |
