about the ram, how to calculate it actually? i'm confused a bit.

it's easy actually

if you're in the bios.... the ram is on divider with the 'FSB'

but for CPU-Z reading, it's divided from the clockspeed... because K8 cpu has no FSB

so when you're overclocking from the bios... you just calculate it using your fsb speed. no prob.

so now does that means my ram is running on 200MHz or 180MHz

erm...anybody try KingMax DD500.i think this ram shoud can do better to keep u at 166 divider if over 320htt.i will try soon.the price is rm299 only.who interest can pm me.i'm work in lowyat now.

Got problem here..I can only max out my htt at 300 only...after that no matter how much voltan i pumped..loose ram timing...still cannot get in to windows..comp just boot up and stuck...is it my mobo limit my oc??my mobo can hit 450 htt...

never use dat mobo.. so dunno.. try 2.8v for ur ram... ldt multiplier set to 2.5x for more stable if ur mobo got 2.5..mine dun got 2.5

but 2.4 already great la.. me onli 2.242 onli.. my proc limit me.. will try put more volt later hope can do 2.4.. but need to change my psu first..volt not so stable...

hmm...just that my board kinda boring liao..wanna try other board..heard DFI is really good..so wanna see how is its potential lor..

dun think so, all nf3 is like tht... ya as long as sata3/4 then ur hdd will be safe... sata 3/4 is located near the cpu/ above the agp
