nv8 is nf4 chipset rite? hellokitty is doin 325htt with his nv8 if wanna go for nf4 s754, better go for dfi infinity version, it can tweak ur memory to oc higher

that's the special thing about DFIs.... u get to fine tune the memory timings to enable you to achieve higher speed.

1T is no problem on DFI with 2x512MB modules with high OC.

how far do u reckon a sempron64 can go with stock cooling?

with stock coolin i think its enough liao.. coz till now when full load, my temp never touch 53c yet.. will try higher vcore after change better psu..

temps for semprons is pretty low...i think you can go quite far with stock cooling, as long as you dun up your Vcore that much...

i'm not smart, i actually google search for my ram setting n end up at dfi-street n saw one people doin 245mhz with my ram chipset so i copy his setting n apply on mine... if put to auto my ram can do 210mhz oni, after doin the setting, can shoot up to 235mhz

I disable the S.M.A.R.T ... dunno why, but was disabled by default when I flashed modded bios (I think so).

If you're going for higher voltage, the DFI experts advised to use CPU voltage around 1.30-1.45v plus the 'special control above VID'.

For tips and tricks... join dfi-street forum. you should get some idea how to tweak the extra memory timings.... although the fellas over there only have base settings for overclocker's fav chips like the Winbonds or Samsung TCCD/TCC5.

i only reach 275. i'm a baby for S754/939 OCing. yesterday i stepped out of Socket A universe. hehe.

so now my sempy 2800+ at 2.2ghz. 8x 275. POST that time, it sez my memory is DDR333 only. hrmrmr.......... i want to use my BT-D43 laaaa.

HTT is currently at 3x. i really don't know what to ask in specific, i just want to know how to tweak further.

how do i find out which is the limiting factor now?
