QUOTE(lighter @ Aug 12 2011, 06:29 PM) in order for the router to talk to BTU. the router must have VLAN tagging feature. most firewall have this feature too.. you cant use modem router for unifi because its DSL modem and doesnt support VLAN tagging. Tplink w8960n is modem router but stock firmware can be configured for unifi use. lol QUOTE(Syfq @ Aug 12 2011, 06:49 PM) i suddenly reset my UNIFI Huawei modem .. can someone tell me how to resetting to normal with my unifi account back??? nooo idea ==

Both Dlink & TM RnD is too basic.

IMO, ALU are much2 better. some area using ALU while others using Huawei, Fiberhome, ZTE....depend on what type of access equipment at TM side

We can say that, Dlink DIR-615 is just a 'BEST EFFORT' wifi router, just like typical TM mentalilty. BTW, my company bought another 2 units of TP-Link TD-W8960N. IMHO, this unit is the the best cheap replacement for DIR-615. This post has been edited by bahathir: Aug 13 2011, 03:10 PM

I want to know why. 841ND not more cost effective?? nah... w8960n is old modem+adsl router for streamyx... it got a built in vlan tagging so you dont need to flash any custom rom to make it work with unifi. while 841nd you need to flash custom firmware. this router is cheaper. or its sibling 741nd half of 841 cost...
