QUOTE(rattan @ Jun 16 2011, 02:01 PM) Response for UniFi has been really good. Due to that now the blocks are taking place alternative often involves forking out more money..except all uploaders start supporting other hosters..Anyway, there is always alternatives. or except...we can change the whole thing..like 'This changes everything' apple taglines..(change gov maybe, pressure the government not to ban...etc..)..then..why are we getting unifi in the first place if not for pirate downloading? hehe.. |

Can Unifi users access the blocked sites using different DNS server? If yes, then no problem.... If cannot access, then I will cancel my registration NOW!

QUOTE(gahkin @ Jun 16 2011, 07:54 PM) i wan ask if use this google or opendns is safe to do online banking as well ? i worry my password other thing will leak off .... LOL.... People dunno what DNS is......... A DNS server does nothing except tell your PC to translate www.google.com to some cryptic number (known as IP address)....So unless you enter www.your bank account/back account password.com you will be safe lar........ My experience with TM's DNS with Streamyx been sucky. So I change to Google's DNS. Never looked back. TM's Streamyx DNS very flakey...... Which cause people cannot load pages... People think STreamyx having problem 'cept its just TM's DNS GG. Gonna get Unifi guys to install this Tuesday... Can't wait... xD Added on June 16, 2011, 8:27 pm QUOTE(rafizi @ Jun 16 2011, 07:08 PM) Applied unifi for another house last week and given 23/8 for installation Ya lor... TP-Link TD-W8960N ADSL2 Modem Router
http://klseet.com/index.php?option=com_con...id=86&Itemid=81 That's right, this TP-Link ADSL2 modem router can be configured to use for UniFi, NO custom firmware is require, the very FIRST case !! Credit goes to "MOH", who emailed me and explained on how to configure it, thank you bro for you kind sharing !! This is indeed another great replacement option, especially for those who are using this device for Streamyx and upgrade to UniFi ! This post has been edited by klseet: Jun 16 2011, 08:51 PM |

QUOTE(tech3910 @ Jun 16 2011, 07:36 PM) was offered but declined. sure enough we get rewarded by being honest. I think one of the reasons why the waiting time became so long is bcos ppl jumping queue after 'minum kopi'. Malaysians nowadays talk a lot about anti corruption but when they actually get the chance |
