Just got mine within 1 hour from the KLCC branch a couple of weeks ago. The Platinum MasterCard (didn't know that MC has a Platinum version) has it's Platinum name in Capital (PLATINUM) while the Amex Platinum is the normal Platinum (non Capital letters)

I realise this will be my spending pattern with the amex 5% rebate.

Start of month, try my best to wait weekends for pumping fuel and reload T&G. Any item purchases also wait for weekends.
Once i spend more than 1000 on the amex on weekends, can use it on any day already just for the x5 TP. No point waiting for weekends 5% rebate

i'm so pissed off!! I booked agoda on sat and the transaction date is on next mon!! Checked thru M2U account and no cash back!! It cost me RM 40 cash backs!!! In future do i need to book on friday instead so that the transaction date will be on weekends???

Your purchase will appear in next statement with due date 13 Oct.

they will only do the transaction on weekday i guess

Hey they approve within one hr is during weekdays ? Weekend also can approve within one hr?

Unless you know of anywhere that you can reload ya T&G with AMEX, u wont be getting the 5% cash rebate + 5x points. Places i know of that can reload with credit card only takes MC or Visa.. Care to share if you know any place that takes Amex for TNG reload?

Not sure about weekend coz I got mine during weekdays.

Maybank credit the amt to me after 2 days from dispute date! very efficient! however, there is a 33 cents different as Maybank treat the credit as another transaction on a different date.. the difference is due to foreign exchange..

Finally I have terminated my Maybank Islamic card. I have requested them to transfer the CL to my current MBB card. Let us see how long it will take this process.

This afternoon around 12.30pm I paid a visit to 1 Utama Maybankard Centre. It took them more than an hour to issue the card. I only got a call from them at around 3.30pm, asking me to provide some details. They then said the card would be ready in half an hour. I guess it's still better than Citibank, I applied Citibank CC last Wednesday till now no news. But at least Citibank gave me free bag lol.

Just got my Maybankard Amex & Visa today, by the way did you guys received any Personal Identification Number (PIN). And because I do not have an account with Maybank, would I still be able to register online for e-statement?

Oh ya both cards looks good, as good as the cards benefits

i need help...

a shop had charged 3x my credit..the same amount and exact same time/date...they said the transaction were failed, but last week i checked my statement,those transaction already in my statement..last sunday, i went to the shop and then they said they will contact their terminal provider which is MBFCards..then yesterday they said MBF will deal with maybank about this issue...so my question is..is it true?MBF will deal with maybank?or am I being lie??????..please help guys..thanks
