Barista informed me that they received an email stating that the AMEX Buy 1 Free 1 promo will be discontinued - 1/8/2011 will be the last day and not 31/10/2011. Apparently, there is some 'issue' with MBB. Perhaps a forum member can verify this?

Ah ha, since we are on this topic then it is just a perfect time to voice out my question.

I have this Flickr account (online photo album) and will expire in 2 weeks time, I just got the reminder for it. In the past I was using my CIMB DA to pay it.

Since I have an AMEX card now and would like to fully utilise it. So when should I pay in order to get the 5% rebate?

The transaction is by online and in the past my account was activated immediately after I keyed in my cards details.

But if follow transaction date then I should be safe isn't it?
For example, I make the transaction on Sunday's evening, if follows the US time zone it should be considered as weekend transaction?

one question, i had applied cc at treatsfair and gotten the card.
today i received a call from my home branch asking me to provide my pay slip. is tht something common for them to do ? i have already gotten my card so i dont see the point of providing them the pay slip.

Hi. I'm new here. First time applying for cc and got tricked to get MC + Amex card. But weirdly they give me RM8000 for my first time credit card.

Mind to ask how do we get max from Maybank gold amex and mc ? As heard in front page there are problem with Amex ? Is it that dangerous to use amex ? or maybank cc to buy stuff online ?

Got one question. I got my card last month and I want to check the statement online. How do I do that? I own a savings account, but couldnt see any cards attach to it.
