Just to update, I renewed my Auto Insurance using Etiqa phone on Saturday, but the actual transaction was only done on Monday (confirmed by the CS and transaction listing), so I don't think its possible to get the 5% Weekend Rebate for it

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jun 29 2011, 09:21 AM) A response from Maybankard FB page The RM50 cashback should be considered as a payment, I would just pay RM2k and check the "Minimum Payment Amount" under M2U on the 3rd of July."Hi, Ronnie, the amount to pay in the scenario you mentioned should be RM2k, if the rebate appears in the same statement. However, to be doubly sure, at the top of your statement you will see, "Current Balance" -- that's the amount that you need to pay if you want to clear the outstanding balance in full." This means I need to pay RM2050 before 15 July 2011 If it says 0.00 then the statement would be considered cleared. |

QUOTE(s@ni @ Jul 10 2011, 07:47 PM) oh, have you ever encounter such problem before: Sometimes the Banks put such rules in place for individual accounts supposedly "for your own protection".1. spent more than rm100 at supermarket (jaya jusco to be exact) using AMEX 2. then tried to pump using AMEX at 2 different esso stations, both rejected. but the terminal accepted my mastercard is there any limit using AMEX for the weekend? Early this year I kena once at ESSO also, on Sunday. Usually you can just call the CS and explain what happened and explicitly request that they remove such protection or at least include certain outlets that you always go to into the 'safe-list'. |

QUOTE(daijoubu @ Jul 13 2011, 12:56 PM) Really? To who you asked for the transfer? You can request to convert the MR into cash balance and then request the cash balance to be transferred to your M2 Amex.I asked at Maybankard center at 1U and they said unable to transfer due to AMEX CC points is in MR. MR cannot convert to TP And i didnt receive 10k TP too However they have a rule that they cannot convert MR to cash balance for cards with 0 or negative (already owing you) balances, so you'll probably have to swipe something really cheap if thats the case. |
