See clearly at the start of video
The MK V GTI have APR Stage 3 with 380hp..I think it's a K04 upgrade with bolt on
The 335I have Vishnu V2 ECU upgrade which is some 100hp over stock or so and that about 400hp there
Cayman S only have like 300hp-330hp stock i think
So obviously MK VI GTI or 335I will smoke Cayman S
*
Yes bro i noticed that, but i just proud that still VW can play with those Porsche entry level and also can follow the least modded 335i bro.. Proud of that.. Summore the cayman price at 490k malaysia ringit :-D.. while gti oni 210k and now maybe 200k donno and add some 40-50k can do stage 2+/3 apr and play with the porch.. ohh summore gti no need to replace evo engine to gain those 360HP not like those wiralution and wajalution notworthy.gif

335i is 306hp and 400Nm, 0-100 5.4 secs. Golf R is 256hp and 330Nm, 0-100 5.7 secs. So, yes it's close but you would need at least Stage 1 Golf R to match the 335i?

it would be a very interesting match up... the MK5 R32 were monsters after they had been chipped. Sure some of you have seen Ian's R32 from vgcm...really monster.

Havnt seen any registered Golf R's yet...

Did anyone see the full page Audi ad for TT? looks like euromobil trying to fight back the Recond TT's...only 330k new.

Which bro? Motegi or OZ or both? After researching better not get the Motegis, apparently now made in China.

Eh you gotta stop trolling the forums and come for the VCM TT. There you can see all the stuff, even the OZ rims on a Black GTI as well brows.gif brows.gif brows.gif

Problem with too light rims, especially with our high torque turbo cars, you tend to get more wheel spin. Of course this is mainly on the track tongue.gif

Timing lah my friend ... am in between jobs at the moment so susah a bit to lari. Will definitely come for a TT once I get things in order.

Wheelspin huh ... never thought about that. But aside from looks, don't you normally look for lighter rims when upgrading?

Yuppy light rim on highway/normal road ok ma.. u didnt speed on highway from 0-200km/h :-P u speed when its already 100km/h haha floor the pedal surely did not spin la.. And by the way, lightrim also can reduce the car weight to optimised more acceleration wow.. Imagine stock gti vs stock gti(only change carbon fiber hood, Alcantara interior, light rim) damn smoke :-D .. hehe
