i am not sure but i remembered IFLIX does not work on Q16.

IFLIX works on Q10pro.

get it from playstore.

IFLIX now has a very limited selection in HD - they are labeled "HD".

they come out fine on Q10pro, 720 quality, possibly helped by the Imprex engine.

Try it!

I've always had iflix on Q16, today I tried the HD, it works but is there any indication it is HD?

Btw at the start of the stream, it does stutter a bit then as it progress it gets smooth

I tried iflix long time ago on Q16...it works, played 10 minutes to test... out of curiosity I tried again last month and it launched but could not get it to play...don't know why and I didn't troubleshoot further...

i truly remembered there were issues with iflix on q16 - it worked, then it didn't.

tried it again version 2.18.0-2982.... it works on q16 too, now.

BUT... it works better on Q10pro - smoother, faster, marginally better PQ, maybe due to Imprex engine.

and yes, i am sure those "HD" are HD or at least close to it.

although there is no clear indication like in netflix, one can always tell by playing those labeled HD and then those not labeled HD - big diff.

Of course better PQ la compared with Q16, but to navigate faster I needed to use a mouse

At least today I feel a slight relief cos at least I've got one app that legally stream media content ....😁😁😁

If the Q10 Pro is within budget and you have compatible AV equipment to max it? I say, go for it... Haven't used it personally, but been hearing good things about it. smile.gif

Q16 is 3 years old, not available anymore.

Current models are q5pro, q10pro and h8 plus.

The q series use a diff chipset than h series.

Q10pro is now the flagship model, android 7.

Q5pro is the litlle brother... all same except it does not have an internal hdd compartment like the big brother.

And it is 2/8gb, not 2/16gb.

There has been quite a bit of discussion and reviews from users in last 10 pages or so, u can read them.

If u are doing a lot of playback of 1080p, bdmv, 4k, hd audio videos on a big 4k tv, u will like q10pro.

the himediavideoplayer in q10pro is a very powerful one.

MX and other free ones are generic, can't do many things.

waste of time if u try to use it!

in fact, when using apps like popcorn and showbox, u can set the player to native player.

that allows u to adjust video quality, find subs, etc. - just like when doing usb playback.

not utilizing the box enough?

how r u using the box, what apps u have now?

maybe i can suggest...
