it seems to be quite a player, has simple bd menu, among other things.

Realtek 1185 software not stable yet (sata,giga lan part). still got bug....

1185 chipset. What is nice?

I'm using HiMedia HD200A. Realtek 1055 based portable media player. So far so good. Able to play BD-ISO but without the menu. Bought from ccs221. Try to pm him. His sales thread at the link below:

It is still too early, I would wait a bit long for the 1185DD chipset to mature and bug-free.

What issue the 1185 chip havving other that networking bugs? This can be solved by updates rite?

i think the early seller who carry is ccs221, just grab himedia and eaget 1185 player from him
i not sure how the bug as mention by yangxi. but the player selling like hot cakes recently.

Asked him already but still no stock. Next week le. Any reviews? Can't find them.

saw this brand in Beijing IT mall recently.. they also have sigma chipset.

Other brands like Egreat and Eaget also popular there and there's also a Dune Max lookalike model with bluray player going for approx RM1k (2000 RMB). My colleage bought an Egreat R200 wifi edition for RM280, slightly cheaper than KL prices (RM399 for non wifi).
