The reason why some of us want to try to rollsback to stock is because of current hardware issues or in the event of future issues , go to samsung malaysia and claim warranty. Of course if full hard brick then obviously can't roll back.
I think this situation applies to jhonsonlee since his tab has LCD screen issues. As for kokifung, he hasn't got samsung malaysia warranty since he has AP set. So, no one knows why he must malaysianise his tab. |

Hi, I'm not sure is this the right place or what...have anyone experience "no service error" using ur Tab? It is not sim card problem coz when I put the sim card in other phone it was OK.
Plus , is this battery problem? I've charged my tab 100% and suddenly it dropped to 5% , then I reboot my tab and it back to 70%. Anyone? |

QUOTE(kokifung @ Jun 29 2011, 11:48 PM) yea there is an update.. After flash the DXJK2 do the *#272*IMEI# then plug to Kies you should able the XME Gingetbread.btw, could u included the links to each files?? BRO, i follow the step u mention.. i am stuck at 34. Run Kies and connect your Tab to your computer and you should get an update available. Follow the instructions on Kies and give it some time to complete. as my kies says that my tab version cannot be updated jk2,jj2,jj2 but then my csc is LB JJ2.. Added on June 30, 2011, 2:16 pmAfter flash the JK2 do the *#272*IMEI# install XME then plug to Kies the new update will pop up for you to update the XME Gingetbread. Good luck This post has been edited by jhonsonlee: Jun 30 2011, 02:16 PM |

Looking at the last few pages of posts, I always wondered why there is so much fascination with using Kies to update the Tab's firmware. I had thought that ODIN was a simpler tool for this with a higher success rate. Using ODIN, I have flashed European GB (P1000XXJMQ) and Malaysian GB (P1000DXJPC) without problems..
I've never installed or used Kies before, so maybe I will just keep wondering.. |

QUOTE(Piccolo @ Jun 30 2011, 06:06 PM) Yeah, if I remember correctly, I used Odin 1.7 with PIT to go up to JPC some weeks back. Wasn't too special compared to JQ1 which I also tried before. I've never heard of JPD firmware, though. Now happily using Overcome 2.0.1 custom ROM. |
