just sharing this info i got from the CS just now.

those card approved from xx march till 31st july will be qualified for this RM150 cash back thingy. somehow this is not shown in their website.

but im sure it's not gonna be easy to get the RM150 right?

i didn't manage to read this when the hsbc agent @ pc fair booth was persuading me to sign up.
when asked for brochure, she doesn't have it.



at home, did some research... and decided to cancel it upon getting the card. surprisingly, she helped me to apply for gold and platinum... what's the use of having both? zzzz

not useful for you but it helps her to achieve her sign-up targets, very un-ethical. next time, tick the card that you want and cross out the rest.

hi, i got one question to ask
now im looking to apply credit card . the main purpose is to buy my stuff using installment payment plan. for example, if i want to purchase iphone at 2199, what will be the installment? as i know there is no 0% installment plan for iphone and i dont want to get it from telco. pls advise.is it we need to pay upfront payment of certain %?

For HSBC Visa Signature, what are the benefits in term of:
- Dining
- Shopping
- Travelling
- Freebies
Will be very appreciated if any one can share on above, in a paragraph of two (without referring me to another link)

The annual fee for the VISA Signature will be automatically waived too provided you use it at least 12 times a year.

Yah, our sis has been most helpful in copying stuff from the bank website and spoon feeding Vestor without understanding the product. But at the rate she's going reading about credit cards and being a contributor to this section, soon she be a credit card sifu

I kind of undecided between UOB/HSBC/Citibank. Not sure which two to keep. Seems like have to cancel HSBC then.

Bro, I was not shooting you in any way. I was merely stating that fly126 was copying stuff and pasting them here, which I do the same too most of the time, hahaha. And with her being helpful in trying to assist you, she also learn about the card in question.

Coming back to your initial question

HSBC card is good if you shop at Mid Valley or The Gardens. And since you just mentioned you got the HSBC VS, I am sure you also received their SMS on cash back promo for shopping and dining.

As for Traveling, well your UOB and Citi don't earn you up to 10X points for overseas Hotel and Dining.

For golf, the UOB Preferred Plat also offers free green fees at some selected golf club.

So in conclusion, you will know best what is good for you.

As for Airport Transfer, we got to wait for HSBC Visa Infinite

Speaking of this, i used my HSBC credit card at Mid Valley last month but i did not get the 5x HSBC Rewards Points. If my memory serves me correctly, i used it at Jaya Jusco and Guardian.

Bro, I see you still keeping your Premier WMC. By the second billing cycle if still not reflected in the Statement better call HSBC.
