I just swipe RM3.2k last 2 days

I plan to apply for Easy Payment Plan

The HSBC has 1 plan which allowed card holder to repay for 10 months and 20 months, with a upfront charges.

Just curious is it ok or should I go for CIMB Balance Transfer?

6 months for 0% and 12 months for 1%?

If it were 1% per annum, i would just go for this. Debt is to your advantage if it is under control. However, it were 1% per month, would definitely opt for 0% option.

12 months 1% seems more affordable, and more cash flow for me biggrin.gif

initially I plan to cancel this card before anniversary month, December 2011.

but sometimes this card give cool discount on F&B, maybe should think to keep this for BT purpose biggrin.gif

The Visa Signature bonus points is for overseas spending right? And only in select locations? Or is it for ALL transactions?

CS for HSBC has been very poor for the past 2 years.
took them ages for them to answer my question in tele banking

Besides, Security device is a nonsense if you dont open a saving account. I request I do not care about your corporate Social responsiblity to cut paper but i wan my statement to be deliver to my house.

They cut my statement without giving notice for 2 month. Charge me late charges somemore! zzz

so they still deliver the paper statement to u?

they also cut my statement without giving notice since last year, i called and request for the paper statement, but they said i have to pay if i were to request for the statement sweat.gif

n not to mention those CS always give empty promises!

The T&C (available on their website) states otherwise regarding the 5x points. I also called them earlier and they confirmed that 5x points promotion ends on 31 Dec.

Well this is just great! the T&Cs confirmed it earlier. So always read the fineprint. Many people have been misled, including the card promoters themselves.

What special shops are you talking about ? What special discount are you talking about ? Is this your first time using any form of credit card hence the unusual expectations? All credit card promotions are dependent on merchant's current promotional programs and this are not necessarily in the form of discount.

Browse through HSBC Credit card privileges on their website. HSBC offers unattractive discounts at places that i don't patronise. Except for the 50% discount on buffets at Grand Millenium!
