The first time you press the round trip, you will see Trip A, press second time Trip B, the main one should be the one without Trip A or Trip B wording. To reset, hold and press until the value zerorised. Tada ~

Anyone tried using the new Petronas Primax 95 Xtra on their Insight?
If yes, kindly share the feedback on the FC and difference in performance

I've tried it ... getting 16.1 km/l. Still got 193 KM ... maybe can hit 17 km/l.

I mean I pump full tank, reset trip A and now trip A showing 428KM (forgotten, around that) indicator showing 16.1 km/l and still got 193KM left to go. I drive 80% city and 20% highway with Econ mode on all the time.

Yes, there is an indicator. I think it is not so accurate ... hmm.gif

You just got your car? Your SA didn't do his/her job to intro you the features in the car?

You have 2 button to do this.

1. The one at the odometer. press once to change A/B or todate. Press long to reset.

2. There is another button to press below the Information Button at the steering wheel. Press A to B and to date. press long to reset. Find at the steering wheel below the Information button.

I always use 95 xtra.

Econ mode on.
City 40%, highway 60%, cruising all I can. Average speed on highway is 90km/h. Numb to long trailers and buses honks, I showed them middle finger instead (in my dream last 2 nights)

Full tank runs 710km, average 22km/l
Pump rm50 runs ~550km before hits "15km range left".

I'm testing caltex now.

2nd service tml after one month got the car.

well, i'm just being nosey...were you able to achieve 160-180 kmph with ECO mode on or off?
*
Both mode can. But i notice the exhaust note was a bit different on both mode running high speed.

The RPM almost 6k at 180. The car still very stable. The FC drop from 18km/l to 17km/l in a few minutes. The best thing was, the pedal still not touching the floor at that speed.

U can follow the steps provided by our friends here.

On top of that, u can set A mileage counter to reset automatically everytime u fill up. Log on to MID setting mode (switch on, engine off, press and hold reset button for a few seconds) and follow the on screen display. i cant remember underwhich setting but i guess u can figure this out.

So mileage counter A will auto reset everytime you refuel and the FC computer will rest too, so u can get updated FC reading every tank.

Perhaps we should bulk purchase them and replace ours with NHC ones. At least not so painful if they get stolen. blush.gif
