I will be getting my car next week. But reading about lack of auto lock kinda sad for such a high tech model. Did Honda Malaysia chose to remove such basic 'safety' feature?

I downloaded the user manual and saw the Autolock feature. Cargo light exist too, again Honda Malaysia chose to omit it?

I have attached screenshots from the user manual.

wow guys..wire cutting to enable auto locking notworthy.gif . High chance voiding the 3 years warranty. ohmy.gif

After reading the user manual, pretty sure the autolock circuit is connected to the car computer since it can be configure from the MIP. Hopefully just a software tweak to enable it. For time being just make one more little effort to lock them doors up. wink.gif

USJ Honda's SA said stopped taking orders for Insight. Show car removed from showroom too.

hey guys that tinted your Insight windows. Did you check the Puspakom certificate? I saw the reading shows Front 73, Side and Rear 71. Looks like any further tinting will make the VLT below the legal limit especially the front.

hmm I heard different kind of story about all these saman assurance. I was told you have to pay the saman and the shop replace the 'illegal' tint only. Thats what they meant by saman assurance. Sigh.

Actually did anyone encounter this issue before ? Do the shop really pay the saman on behalf for you and return the official PDRM/JPJ saman receipt or give you cash to pay the saman? If you did, please let me know which brand okay, hehe I wanna go for also. Headache searching for a good tint.

if you are in PG/mainland, PM me. i can recc you my tinting shop. LLumar tint. I know the guy, so he will keep his word smile.gif
Alamak me from PJ, Selangor. I shortlisted Llumar too after seeing a friend's car got smashed with an axe returning from a bank yesterday. I guess sometime is worth to pay extra for a proven safety tint.

later i'm going accessories shop. see what they have for door visor, HID kit and to put as my boot lamp biggrin.gif

Did you try to find if there is any hidden unused connector around the 'cargo light' area? If got then we can just plug/connect one in easily.

Hi, when u get ur car, can u look at the 'manufacturing DOB' metal on the door frame? I'd like to know is your car the POST/PRE quake batch? Just to have a definite answer on what's the situation is like.
*

Alright will check her out and get back to you. I hope is not the POST quake batch. ohmy.gif I rather she was sitting in the port 1-2 months that just got cleared out by the authority.

I think more will jump onto the bandwagon when the kits arrive...
any other bros interested for modulo bodykits?
*

Actually I am quite keen but somehow I prefer Mugen. Modulo kinda too subtle.
