QUOTE(rajamohdrafy @ May 14 2011, 06:33 PM) hey westlife, u bought Beta package right? i wanna know more about the foot lighting... is it something that you can switch on/off or is it on all the time as long as your engine is on? and it's installed just at the driver & co-driver side is it? none at the rear passenger foot? No cutting involed, just plug to circuit, if don't want easily remove and replace back H11Added on May 14, 2011, 6:37 pm bro, gotta do some wiring to install HID right? any wire cutting involved? wanna do some mod to the car but very concerned it gonna spoil the warranty... especially since hybrid is still relatively new in the country... will really suffer if warranty get void |

Added on May 24, 2011, 11:02 pm MenOnInsight, sorry, this is my 1st time considering HID... u just change the bulb, or install new wiring too? Added on May 24, 2011, 11:07 pm I added with the new Hid bulb and circuit together, but no cutting the wire. HID bulb is different from original H11 bulb This post has been edited by MenOnInsight: May 24 2011, 11:19 PM |

QUOTE(Kensim00 @ May 28 2011, 11:10 PM) LoL help u promote ur good service and hid? I'm lazy to take pics la, camera heavy. I have same problem like u. Hid 4300k and small light is white led. So now try looking any white colour bulb, which look similar to hid 4300k one.Anyway, I changed the small light to LED again. It looks brighter and whiter than the 4300k HID. lol shud have taken 6000k one. Added on May 29, 2011, 2:21 am QUOTE(iphone @ May 29 2011, 12:20 AM) Below photos show my installation. Circled are the ballast and arrow pointing the single screw that can easily be loosen to remove the HID kit. Me too dislike about warranty void issue, so I installed them such a way the HID can easily be remove and replace back with the standard halogen prior to sending the car in for services. That is exactly location like mine. However i didn't remove when i do my 1k service. My sa say install hid no big deal.![]() ![]() This post has been edited by MenOnInsight: May 29 2011, 02:21 AM |

Lol yeah get it from sh@rty. I got a cheaper one from him. Then my hid looks so white compared to the small bulb. Then I changed tue bulb to led. And now the hid looks so yellowish to me Put it down to foglight, get 6k for the low beam maybe? [/quote] Don't dare put 6000k. As road block all the time near my working area. |
