Will V1 be closed?

just saw another insight white color beside the road with emergecny light and tow truck. seems stalled

whats going on with insight

Finally, clocked 1060km.  The fuel indicator needle is touching the word E but I believe still can go another 50km but dare not to try.  Pump another full tank, Caltex RON95, RM66.65.  85% highway, 15% city.

An update to all folks looking to book Insight now: i spoke to my SA few hrs ago, and yes, the reports are right - Honda Japan has stopped production.

Most Honda MYS are no longer taking orders BUT there are some smaller outlets in the small towns (like where I got mine from - Kulim, Kedah).. that have some "extra unassigned" Insights up for grabs.

Apparently, my SA says that he can still take a few orders, with delivery in July. After Apr 22, he too will fill his quota and have to stop taking orders completely.

So, fingers crossed for my car delivered next 2 days!

If its up genting it will use the elctric motor to support....if on straight highway then will only use normal engine...

Is there any vibration comes with the grinding noise? And does the noise reflects the road condition you're traveling on?

If the grinding noise/ harshness come and go, its your road & tyres. If its consistent no matter on any pavement surface, you might have some problem.

The noise is not from the glove box. 

It is only audible when accelerate, and off when decelerate.  It seems that I am not alone here and I guess it is related to the electric motor.

yes it is the security no to use with the backup key, becos u notice that the backup key got no remote lock and unlock button rite?

so in the case, primary key cannot work, and u use backup key to open car, the car alarm will trigger, in order to stop the alarm u must press the code (there is a button at the right side of the dashboard next to the driver car door.

there is simple manual to teach this.

haha still ok la, u need to backup key + together with the code to steal the car. 

that's why u need to install additional lock, i just paid rm1.5k to order the cobra connex, next week thurs install. 

the cobra connex manager which i install the cobra connex to my NHC one, give me 2nd year annual fee waiver (so saved rm360) again.

I will be getting my car next week. But reading about lack of auto lock kinda sad for such a high tech model. Did Honda Malaysia chose to remove such basic 'safety' feature?

I downloaded the user manual and saw the Autolock feature. Cargo light exist too, again Honda Malaysia chose to omit it?
