I disagree with this point...
If u know how to use it well u actually save more...
On average I save about 50 - 100 from my entertainment food bills etc every month
Just make sure u can pay the full amount end of the month can liao...

I have to agree with you on this due to the huge benefits that comes with cc. The key lies with how you resist the urge to spend more than what you need. I think it depends on the person la.....I am simply more comfortable with debit card.

Actually, I'm not that kedekut....I do splurge once in a while to keep myself happy.

I stayed in jb hotel last time. However, I think you can find backpacker hostels in sg at very affordable prices.

More than $480 per child Loh. Most places cost more that iphone4 without plan per month unless you have subsidy.

just always remember hotels/guesthouse/motels in sg not always walk-in can get especially during peak seasons.
some even book 1 year earlier for hotel smile.gif

CC is great if use wisely! biggrin.gif
self-control is very important. CC always helps me settle my hotel bill when on business travel instead of travel with lot cash. helping me earn lot points and others rclxms.gif biggrin.gif
it is about discipline oneself.

can bring camera(slr) in boh even if we dun use it.

I'm not sure if you are allowed to bring in dslr but bags are all check before being allowed to enter.
Staff are quite strict in not allowing photo taking during the show.

Oh yea, don't bother buying the $20 show booklet, its quite worthless.

Guys quick ques about cellphones. Malaysia you can convert a prepaid line to postpaid and keep same number. Singapore telcos also same? Any recommendation for provider? Will be in temporary accomodation for a couple of weeks.

[edit] also ... any comment on following housing areas: tampines, pasir ris, bedok? tampines/pasir ris seems to be similar pricing at sgd 2.2-2.6k for 1xxx sq ft HDB. Bedok seems way more exp at sgd 2+k for 600-700 sq ft apt - but company got feeder bus direct from bedok mrt to office.

AS per my info 1.5 years ago.. generally prepaid for Singtel is non convertible at all.. you don't get to retain your no.

For Singapore u will e charged as local call...
Generally people will advise u to check with ur service
Provider as certain country and telco will not charge u...
To be safe...use a fixed line to make the call(hotel they may have their own rates)

Thanks bro. So mean even 1800 toll free SG number also classified as local call...
I learned a lesson... next time should use company phone to call instead... tongue.gif

Actually i suspect sg differentiate the passes to differentiate the people
I also think its much easier for ep to get pr compared to the other classes. I also think right now it's almost impossible/very rare for wpass to get pr
Like to know other's thoughts?
