your quenstion is incomplete.

if you try to ask were you underpaid then it depend on your skill, age and industry. $4500 is good for most jobs below manager level.

if you try to ask can will you be comfortable should you come to SG and accept a job that pay that much, then it depend are you single or with family.

$4500 for single new comer live a normal lifestyle is more than enough.

Today, $4500 for a non-singaporean family is just enough. No fancy stuff, just the essential things.

You should ask can you accept that pay and live a happy life here.

usually, how long it take for employer in sg to make a work permit for malaysian??

some 1-2 weeks, one of my friend only waited for 3 days, i've waited for 1 month without rejection, some other friends got rejected for up to 3 times.

depends on which method ur employer use to apply ur work permit. if they do it online, the approval is within 3 days. if by manual, then its 1 month.
you can check MOM website, the info is stated there.

generally, front office lesser no. of yrs, while back office more yrs of exp.
FO meets client so are relatively easier to be given better title, for obvious reason
but bear in mind same title can have VERY different salary range, even both are FO or BO.
u can have one AVP report to another, officially.
