if you try to ask were you underpaid then it depend on your skill, age and industry. $4500 is good for most jobs below manager level.

if you try to ask can will you be comfortable should you come to SG and accept a job that pay that much, then it depend are you single or with family.

$4500 for single new comer live a normal lifestyle is more than enough.

Today, $4500 for a non-singaporean family is just enough. No fancy stuff, just the essential things.

You should ask can you accept that pay and live a happy life here.

for $4500/person, then spouse must work to double that amount else really not much left for saving.
