haha.. calm down.. Yea , SC card currently no benefit/point rewards/cash back at all.. Just keep it for emergency use only lor since they are giving high CL. Wait for anniversary month, terminate it if they dont want to OFFSET gst.

I submitted cancellation of all my SCB Platinum & Gold CCs via fax.... just retaining the Preferred World MasterCard.

I wonder whether the SCB Retention dept will call to offer me $$$

Do you still get any benefits with the Pref WMC? Do you still remember whether it is eligible for 2 years annual fee waiver when you applied for it? I am choosing between this or Plat MC to retain and hold the Choice Points.

Keeping just for having a WMC + Preferred Banking status only hahahahaha

Make a call to cancel my PBB credit card service, she keep asking me why need to cancel and persuade me to keep it for future purpose since our credit card give you rebate 0.6% (when hear this, I was thinking ONLY 0.6% rebate ) I just reply: others cc more attractive. Somehow, she still promoting their credit card, straight away said just help to cancel, that's all.

In the meantime, I asking for official letter regarding this cancellation, she said will be received 2 weeks time.

Anyone cancel PBB and received letter so far?

And May I ask is it the entire bank will issue you a letter regarding credit card cancellation? Have you guys requested for??

so far for me, only PBB got issue cancellation letter

If there any issued regarding with your credit card such as u have cancel with bank but the card still being active??

around 2 - 3 weeks. got no issue with public bank unlike hong leong bank

Hong Leong Bank will actually send you a letter to inform that your CC cancellation has been approved.

p.s. You can even re-activate if you wanted.

You Must Paid Off All the Outstanding Balance, baru can Cancel Your Credit Card...

Or else u can request for final statement to be pay off the remaining balance of your installment item, no need wait for 12 months

the balance we say here is not the amount you see in the monthly statement, as you opt in 12 installment so the monthly statement just show the monthly payment, the balance we say here is the total of rest 11 monthly installment, i.e. outstanding balance. you must clear off the outstanding balance thereby you may request to cancel the card
