would it be too late to cancel the card by the time you receive the statement with the $50 government tax? or do you have to cancel it before the government tax appears on your statement?

1. MBB Visa Classic to MBB Visa Petronas
2. MBB Ikhwan AMEX to MBB2 AMEX

i requested through phone to hv my RHB CC cancelled and when i called again after 1 week to check, my account number is no longer active. but i still receiving statement 2 months later :S

Hey, how long i need to hold the standard chartered credit card? i just get it last month, and i find out that the card is not as good as others bank such as citibank and maybank which got lots of privillage such as priority line for TGV, discounts bla bla bla, just call them and cancel? no penalty charges?

Hey, honestly speaking i dun think Standard Chartered bank credit card is good, just like when u shop in harvey norman, they got free installment plan for all bank, except Standard chartered. And if u want to transfer ur balance to installment plan. wow, they charge u damm high interest, 5.99% for 6 to 9 months, 6.99 for 12 months and 7.99 for 18 months, so high.

My CIMB only charge 2% for 10 months installment, 4% for 20 months and 5% for 30 months, i think Standard Chartered is sucks

I want to cancel my Standard Chartered card, i already write in many time they dint respone. Call in always say will call me back. So boring with they service. Any one can advice me what i can do ????

First the CS offered you RM100, you accepted it and then now they decided to cancel it?

Anyone know cancelling Visa Petronas Maybankard need to surrender card or not? How long will it take to transfer the treat points? and is it immediate cancel? Thanks so much.

Yesterday called up Eon/Hong Leong Bank to cancel my card, but she said must clear all outstanding balance only can cancel..

So I cannot cancel my card now until I clear all outstanding.. 

I rather pay RM50 than to pay addtional RM300 or maybe more just to get that refund. They might issue other charges..
I can get better cash back with my UOB card than AMB.
2% cash back and is subject to minimum amount blocks is no good compared to UOB.

I have one question here. If the RM50 service tax is charged ady, can I still cancel it? Thanks.
