QUOTE(Robin Liew @ Jan 16 2012, 01:08 PM) like this its time to cancel my cimb cc You should cancel any Credit Cards which doesn't benefit you. Why pay RM50 for something you won't get any value out of it ?

I got confirmation last week from the credit card department VP of CIMB that Visa Signature will be still continuing the buy 1 free 1 GSC ticket because it is listed one of the 10 signature rewards. However now checking again the website, the promotion is already gone. CIMB really need to buck up big time.

QUOTE(temptation1314 @ Jan 12 2012, 03:55 PM) last time work salary low i apply they give 4k with classic, after 1 year, they give gold and 7k. Of course i'm not asking them to go review every single cc holder but 5 years gap. :S It's like they just took my money but never care to give more services. Do you have any other bank credit card outstanding balance or any other commitment?I used to had same situation with you which my limit upgrade request being declined recently.Luckily i got some friend working inside CIMB checked for me that my request declined because of my commitment high. At first i was thought as long we are good paymaster or high usage on our credit card we will deserved for the limit upgrade however my friend told me effective Jan 2012 all limit upgrade request will subject to bank reviews(CCRIS & CTOS check) which is much more strict than past due to BNM new guidelines. Just my single cent.Hope this can help you get understand about the bank new policy This post has been edited by whitemouse1314: Jan 19 2012, 02:22 AM

So far only have 1 running loans which is about to end this Dec. Well, I have resent another request form to ask for credit limit increase.
A call to the CS reveal that they only reject my application for card upgrade but no news about the credit limit. I believe they just threw my form away after rejecting the first request I put in the form.

There's no admin charge if you fully settle the CIMB BT account. If you look at the statement, it always shows the full remaining balance. So as long as you settle the Full Remaining Statement balance, you would NOT be charged extra.
