MS have not provided appropriate update. However, a hotfix which serves as a temporary solution is available. The hotfix is can be obtained by contacting them through phone/support.

i cant connect to overseas sites due to network, and i cant download licence to play those songs.

Guys, u can disable hibernation too in Vista and I reclaimed HDD space equivalent to my installed memory (1.256GB!)

hi all
i've just got myself a laptop that comes with vista basic

i've successfully install xp on 1 of my partition
but i can't load my Vista anymore cos the MBR has been replace with XP MBR
so i've boot my vista DVD and repair my vista MBR
and i can boot into vista now
used easyBCD to create a dual boot environment

but after i reboot
dual boot option is available
when i choose to boot windows XP
i got this "NTLDR is missing error"
no problem boot into Vista

i google about this and some solution provided is copy the NTLDR and NTDetect into the root XP drive and it will boot again
i've do so but still no luck

anyone can provide me some solution that i can try ?

Do you want both XP and Vista? delete both OS, install XP and then install VIsta. I found this easier than Installing Vista first than XP

can i do so with my Dell DVD kit ?
cos the xp i used is p version, and the vista is the DVD provided by Dell

can I think. but when you install vista, skip the Serial key, and enter it after installing vista

First right click on my C drive. Then choose reformat.. There, settle liau for you..

1 question...i've been using vista for more than a month now.....wanna ask why is the installation of programs is so much slower than XP?? issit because of the new indexing stuff?? any1 disabled it?
