5x is only for weekends or applicable to weekday as well?

5x treatpoint is for amex only everyday

Been waiting for the Master be launched since March. Just got the MB2 Master Platinum a few days back.
What surprise me, there is little increase to my CL; an additional of 3K.
What is this? A Platinum card having Gold card level of CL. My CT Classic and OCBC Titanium have higher CL than MB2 Platinum by > 10K.

can we apply to increase it ?

I have a bad feeling that I'll be rejected because I am a contract worker. They said contractor not yet eligible to apply but can try.

I'm also a contract worker, no issue.
Plus contract worker has higher salary than permanent.
It should be that way la, at least for me.

Ya, I also feel that, contract worker also can get high salary what, dunno why the consultant still want to emphasize contract in the application form.

I got my DA and Maybankard 2 Gold with my contract employment. It's the salary that matters.
If possible, I wanna continue being a contract staff until one day I wanna settle down.
Now being a consultant, on contract basis looks good for me.
Actually they didn't ask me if I'm a permanent or contract but I told Maybank telemarketer that I'm on contract basis, she said no issue on that.

Glad to hear that, if I am being rejected, i will re-apply again.

I just handled over my pre-approved application form to the customer service manager at priority counter. Wish me luck!

The services is pretty disappointed.
Faxed to them, no reply.
Email to them, ask me to call Customer service.
Call Customer Service few times, say will get back to me, but didn't.
And email again to them waiting for reply or phone call.
Their services is really below expectation.

amex.customercare@maybank.com.my (they reverted 2 days after)

called CS of AMEX to change to VISA this morning. He called me back ard 2pm, to confirm the change. I asked him to expedite. He says if things are alrite, I should be able to receive my card next week.

Mine told them 10000 times change to VISA, eventually still sent me a MasterCard though confirmed it was taken effect.

In the shop (Esso), I use Smiles points to buy things. Not cash Anything also can buy with Smiles points, as long as you have sufficient points. But normally I buy mineral water or tin can drinks only. Why buy there if Tesco is just 500m away ?

100 Smiles = RM1

Also can use Smiles point to buy petrol. 1000 Smiles = RM15 (most worth to use)

sifus, want to ask..let let say i apply platinum..maybank furnish me gold... can i just dont want activate and swipe the cards... and not government tax paid for the unclaim credit card

maybankards are usually already activated. Complain it is not what u applied for and cancel it quick.

Last Tuesday (May 2nd) I went to the branch with my pre-approved application for Maybank 2card Platinum. No documents required except for IC.

The pre-approved invitation was for Amex and Master, but I told the officer I wanted Visa instead of Master. She said NP.

Y'day, I called Maybank and they told me my application has been approved but they gave me Amex + Master. *Sigh*

Called the branch again and the officer explained that previously they were doing 'promotion' for Amex + Visa, but the current promotion now is for Amex + Master, so if I wanted to change to Visa, I should wait one year and submit my request to change to Visa next year. Otherwise I'd have to pay another RM50.
