Yes. Yours gross salary (not net) that being take into consideration for the minumum annual income threshold to apply Maybank 2 GOLD card.

Ic...will go to maybank tmr for applying.

For AMEX 5% rebate, the maximum rebate per month is only rm50? What if i buy a phone which cost RM1500, 5% cash back is RM75, means I am getting RM50 cash back only??

One thing to point out, most phone dealers that give discount (i.e. cheaper that RRP) don't accept AMEX. So before you go swipe with your AMEX card at places like SENQ, check street price of phone.

How about Digi Centre?

Does Petronas petrol station accept AMEX? It will be my main consideration to apply this card.

I have a bad feeling that I'll be rejected because I am a contract worker. They said contractor not yet eligible to apply but can try. cry.gif

smile.gif I'm also a contract worker, no issue. smile.gif
Plus contract worker has higher salary than permanent. laugh.gif
It should be that way la, at least for me. tongue.gif

Ya, I also feel that, contract worker also can get high salary what, dunno why the consultant still want to emphasize contract in the application form.

hopefully they don't reject my application.

No worry la. smile.gif
I got my DA and Maybankard 2 Gold with my contract employment. It's the salary that matters. wink.gif
If possible, I wanna continue being a contract staff until one day I wanna settle down. laugh.gif
Now being a consultant, on contract basis looks good for me. tongue.gif
Actually they didn't ask me if I'm a permanent or contract but I told Maybank telemarketer that I'm on contract basis, she said no issue on that. smile.gif

Glad to hear that, if I am being rejected, i will re-apply again. smile.gif

Last night I received sms from Maybank, said that my Maybank 2 gold card application has been approved, and I checked my Maybank2u, my credit card account was there.

Anybody knows when is the cut off day of credit card?

That means your cards will reach soon, you may call up CS to check on the actual delivery date.
Cut off day of credit card? What did you mean?
*
I mean when is the payment date of the 2 card for each month?

Just curious, how much is the spend limit for Maybank 2 Gold Card (each card)? Is it based on your salary? Or it is standardize?

Supposedly to be 3x. hmm.gif

Mine is slightly more than 3x.

Me too, mine also slightly more than 3x, feel shocked when I saw the amount, not sure it is good or bad, lol.

Maybe this is their tactic, to make us spend a lot, and they will earn our interest if we don't pay it. tongue.gif

Have to spend wisely.

erm, I feel that higher CL is resulting higher expense, it's a good thing if the bank control the CL for not making cardholders to overspend. smile.gif

Invitation means they called and offered you the card? I applied twice, 1st is at maybank branch, then at the 2nd day, someone from Maybank called to offer me the card, so I had duplicate application, it's approved, but I'm not sure from which application. biggrin.gif

I get a small booklet and a recycle bag from Maybank branch upon receiving my card, it's just a T&C booklet(BM and BI) on how to use your credit card.
