Last Tuesday (May 2nd) I went to the branch with my pre-approved application for Maybank 2card Platinum. No documents required except for IC.

The pre-approved invitation was for Amex and Master, but I told the officer I wanted Visa instead of Master. She said NP.

Y'day, I called Maybank and they told me my application has been approved but they gave me Amex + Master. *Sigh*

Called the branch again and the officer explained that previously they were doing 'promotion' for Amex + Visa, but the current promotion now is for Amex + Master, so if I wanted to change to Visa, I should wait one year and submit my request to change to Visa next year. Otherwise I'd have to pay another RM50.

Well I got the pre-approved invitation, submitted my application and got approved, no need payslip.
