Hi guys, I am wondering why in my maybank2u online account suddenly has both of saving account and maybankard 2 gold account. It also shows the credit limit for that credit card. Its kind of weird since i have never applied for this credit card before, and never been contacted by anybody from maybank. btw, does it mean that i will be getting that card?

Other ppl out there apply also can't get, you didn't apply but the cards auto approved. Unless you hate credit cards, you shall thank Maybank for the offer.

in this case, it is a much sought after card but what if it is one of the least desired card and it appears just like that? would be a hassle on the customer side to cancel it, and might even expose him to fraud since he may not be aware about the card at the first place. pre-approved or auto-approved cards should at least be preceeded by a notification first. just imho.

I noticed that I tried swiping my AMEX most of the time nowadays. Seldom using cash. Good also la, the cash can be kept till end of the month to clear my debts.

Basically, my company is requesting for amex gold credit card for me from maybank. But i still havent got that card also.. I dont know whether they got my info from that application or something.. its just weird, but still if i really get that maybank2 card, it would be great!

try use amex at mydin store , but dont accept ...

amex gst is absorb, but visa and mc need to pay, so it should be RM100?

lol. my HSBC gold had 2x CL than my mbb combined CL (normal visa plat non-petronas + amex&visa)

sometimes, certain products offered by esso/mobil is cheaper than tesco

mine already approved.. and the cards are being delivered.. but don't knowhow they arrange for the delivery.... and till now still not receive my card yet...

most of you already jump into this card? Been leaving CC thread for quite sometime and seems best card from MBB is MBBKad 2 platinum ?

Agreed. If without AMEX, it is probably one of the worst cards.
It doesn't even have interesting promotion for VISA and MasterCard.

Yup, I apply for this card purely for AMEX only..5x points + 5% cash back at weekend is too irresistible

i've applied mine from card centre in 1u on last sunday...how long should I expect to hear from them ?

5x points are all days available.

promo for visa and mc will be there, but cant beat other bank's benefits

Maybank fellow called to ask if I have received all my cards. I actually told him whatever hassle I have gone through. Though he can't help much but at least I have done my part as a consumer.

I told him, "I'm happy with the cards but not your people."
