Now I'm seriously doubt if i'd made the right decision 2 yrs back. I somehow see my future's dim if i stick to lab job. 2.3k pay after 2 yrs graduation is certainly shameful. any comment or positive advise i may get from you guys? i'm so disappointed to the current situation of bio-related job in malaysia. |

QUOTE(jonuslee @ Jul 27 2011, 10:33 PM) Guys.currently I am doing section head of engineer with RM3.2k.I want to ask if next time I jump,my salary can up to 4.5 to 5 k? this depends how u sell urself during interview session...and most importantly is, if u go big company, should not be a problem...but small company dont think u can increase so much unless u r a specialist! |

QUOTE(IluvProton @ Jul 29 2011, 10:28 PM) sawmill can operate as long as you got logs supply.for me, sawmill is more "stable" but cannot gives high return as logging (timber extraction) side. for example, logging supervisor can get around rm11k. when not in rain season can get up to rm18k depends on production. for sawmill, only manager/asst manager got that figure. *i mean supervisor for all operation matter. NOT the supervisor for 1 department only. |

Here also got offer to buy our sawmill sawdust for rm70-80/ton.too bad you not in pen' msia. if not, might ask you supply the wood waste high demand here - slabs / sawdust - if not mistaken, last year northern m'sia demand for 1 ton hit 80ringgit ex-works. A very good thread to read and by reading this, all workforces have better idea how much effort to be put in order to get better pay.
But, I wonder moderator can make the Lets talk salary into sub-categories, like IT, Business, etc. And, IT can be sub-categorized into Software Engineer, Software Architect, ERPs (can be Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, JDEwards, etc) ... I strongly believe that by sub-categorizing the "Lets talk salary" we can have better information and fast. |
