I was in fact graduated from Uni in 2009, after that i worked as an admin officer at a security firm, and they offered me 2k salary with company car and accommodation. i left after half a year and join a clinical lab. they offered me 1.6k, a serious pullback but i was encouraged by family to work at the sector that i can perform, and for some better prospect. 6 months later, i got an invitation from my uni coursemate that his workplace (hospital lab) was hiring, i tried my luck and got the offer. i switched immediately and this is where i'm working at now. 2 month later i'll be reviewed by my boss for a not-so-attractive increment (probably less than a hundred according to my seniors). Now I'm seriously doubt if i'd made the right decision 2 yrs back. I somehow see my future's dim if i stick to lab job. 2.3k pay after 2 yrs graduation is certainly shameful. any comment or positive advise i may get from you guys? i'm so disappointed to the current situation of bio-related job in malaysia.

how do u expect people to help u out?

i thought architecture pays high salary

Guys.currently I am doing section head of engineer with RM3.2k.I want to ask if next time I jump,my salary can up to 4.5 to 5 k?

Is it normal for me to ask for 2.8k for my upcoming interviews? I have 1 year working experience, degree holder, applying for Junior Art Director.

as I know, sawmilling is not 12month operational.

correct me if I'm wrong.

sawmill can operate as long as you got logs supply.

for me, sawmill is more "stable" but cannot gives high return as logging (timber extraction) side.

for example, logging supervisor can get around rm11k. when not in rain season can get up to rm18k depends on production.
for sawmill, only manager/asst manager got that figure.

*i mean supervisor for all operation matter. NOT the supervisor for 1 department only.

I mean, honestly, is this underpaid? I feel like..... like crap. No commission even if i brought rm200k to company in 2months. =="

Anyhow, side-track abit, can i ask..... Isit correct/ethical if company do not want to accept Medical Certs? My company based in Klang Valley, i went to Johor, fall sick and take MC. Come back KL, they reject my MC. Unfair or acceptable? Regards to all.

yea, depend on the raining season which effect the log transport.

too bad you not in pen' msia. if not, might ask you supply the wood waste 

high demand here - slabs / sawdust - if not mistaken, last year northern m'sia demand for 1 ton hit 80ringgit ex-works.
