You can try Jisan Forest Resort, previously they are providing free shuttle bus from Seoul to their resort. But I'm not sure how this work for now, still you can try to call them and made reservation (for shuttle bus).

For public transportation you can try below smile.gif

QUOTE
① Incheon International Airport → Jisan resort: From bus stop 7A of Incheon International Airport, take a bus bound for Icheon (Operating Time: 07:20~21:20, at every 60 mins. / Travel time: 2 hrs. 40 mins. / Fee: 17,700won) → From Icheon Inter-city Bus Terminal take bus (No.12) bound for Cheonggangdae (Operating Time: 06:45~21: 35, 41 services a day / Travel time: 40 mins. / Fee: 1,500won) → Get off at Gyounghui Mart Station → Walk straight for about ten minutes

② Seoul ↔ Jisan Resort: By regular free shuttle bus

③ Seoul → Jisan Resort: From Dong Seoul Terminal take a bus headed for Icheon (Gangbyeon Station, Subway Line 2) (Operating Time: 07:00~20:00, 14 services a day / Travel time: 1 hour / Fee: 4,000won) → From Icheon Inter-city Bus Terminal take bus (No.12) for Cheonggangdae (Operating Time: 06:45~21: 35, 41 services a day / Travel time: 40 mins./ Fee: 1,500won) → Get off at Gyounghui Mart Station → Then go straight (Walk 10 mins.).

I think a lot of countries is doing that now. This is normally done at the immigration counter, where they have a scanner to scan the fingerprints and a webcam to take your picture. Then only they will stamp your passport.

It will take only a minute extra than the normal procedures. So just smile to the webcam smile.gif

So i gave the deposit. And now the problem is I heard a lot people(relative, sis and friends) saying that the study trip is too pricey cause they say now korea trip is just need around (2-3k) and you will get to there. So am wondering, isit really true? Rm5000 and RM2-3000 is so much different! Should i cancel or its really worth to go? People, please help me! Or whoever sure the price for the Korea trips.  rclxub.gif

Thanks!

Peak season might be more exp kua smile.gif
But i think join tour during winter is around 3k only.

I am going next week(OCT, Autumn) for 5nites, 6days.
AA = RM600
Hotel = RM300(sharing with 3 others)
Food+Travel = RM500
Total = RM1400

Me save on transport becoz i am staying in the middle of most tourist attractions in Seoul, so can walk most of the times and i am just staying in Seoul and going Nami Island(furthest)

Hi, just back from Seoul, I was staying at MDGH this time. Really don't recommend this place as it is a bit old and don't have lift. Imagine carry your big luggage all the way to 5th floor. And also wifi only available at reception / ground floor only. And also no breakfast.

If you willing to top another 10,000-15,000won per room, I will suggest IB ville Guesthouse or Green Residence. I stay here before. Location wise Green Residence is good, myeongdong shopping is just right down your building but room is a bit small compare to IB Ville. More detail of these two guesthouse can get in My Blog . smile.gif

Or try Namsan guesthouse 2 or 3. This is where I will book next time. smile.gif

I was there mid of september, no fingerprints or photo is requested.
Don't worry le, if they want just let them check, we are clean so shouldn't be a problem to visit their country.
Happy holiday! cool.gif

Has anyone been to Soraksan? Is it possible to make it within a day, traveling from Seoul?
Read from some website, long queue is expected to take cable car.

Is it worth to go Soraksan? I am thinking to drop this place and visit Nami instead, as it appears that it is quite rushing for us.

guys..i'm so sad.

i'll be leaving soon to SK, all done except i still dint manage to secure a stay at Naejangsan. i tried to get a night at naejangdong..but all d motels/inn require phone booking tat none of them can speak english.. i search high & low till i found a korean to call for me ( friend's friend). but sadly d price per night hike up to 150,000 won. she help me to call fews ..but all same. then one of my "stay" owner offer to help me (more like i was begging him to help me to find some cheap accomodation)
he told me he managed to find a minbak for 60k won, timji later only found out mistaken date & fews he called all already fully booked but then price is double ..

really frustrated ler. i dont want to pay rm300+ for a nite..seem abit stupid for a no star accomodation..but now even how stupid also..almost all already fully booked for early nov. (seem like it is super peak season for d locals)

initially i wan to stay at Jeonju & travel to neajangsan. but friend advised said too troublesome..since i'm only staying there for a night..y spend hours on traveling between the city (2hr each). but even now, d beautiful hanok i wan to stay also fullybooked jor.

arrrrr...so ended up now i just plan to simply book a night at a hotel at jeonju. at least they have online reservation that do not need a phone booking or korean speaking helper. sad.gif
