Anyone know where the place nearest to seoul downtown for skiing...
Just want to see people skiing and easy to go by public transport.
Will go there 10-15dec
Is it myongdong guest house is a nice place to stay
Considering myongdong GH (cheap acc) or uljiro co-op residence to stay for 4 night.
Hi, just back from Seoul, I was staying at MDGH this time. Really don't recommend this place as it is a bit old and don't have lift. Imagine carry your big luggage all the way to 5th floor. And also wifi only available at reception / ground floor only. And also no breakfast.
If you willing to top another 10,000-15,000won per room, I will suggest IB ville Guesthouse or Green Residence. I stay here before. Location wise Green Residence is good, myeongdong shopping is just right down your building but room is a bit small compare to IB Ville. More detail of these two guesthouse can get in
My Blog .
Or try Namsan guesthouse 2 or 3. This is where I will book next time.

"Starting from August 2010, all foreigners aged 17 or above are required to register fingerprints and photo upon entering Republic of Korea. Those who refuse to cooperate may be denied access to the country. "
from this website
Minisrty of foreignwhat should i do when i reach there ?
I was there mid of september, no fingerprints or photo is requested.
Don't worry le, if they want just let them check, we are clean so shouldn't be a problem to visit their country.
Happy holiday!
