Just get the F1.8. Not much diffrence yooooo.
The F1.4 is a FF lens, faster AF, more solid and quieter AF (I think)
No lah F1.4 is not SAMThe Sony Alpha Thread V51!, The Orange Legion

rubrubrub : If you are just starting with a prime lens and is on an APS-C body then go get the 50mm f1.8
You can try out with that lens first. It's quite affordable and will let you have a feel of the focal length and how shooting with a prime is like. If you decide that it's not for you then it's quite easy to sell it off too. I'll suggest you check out the 35mm f1.8 too and see if you like that focal length. |

fansoption: Got improve, definitely.
Newbieeeeee: Hmmm that does sound like a problem. Just bear in mind that there is currently a backlog at Sony when it comes to repairing so you might have to wait a while for your lens to get fixed (as it is, already, lenses have always took a long time to fix in Malaysia). ahpingko: Wah, scold the photographer back! LOL. Nice one with Moments - #18 but it would be cooler if she was holding the sun in her hand! I like #11 also, it's very unconventional, but works. #9 and #17 good angle, and the grass in front of #16 really helps. The picture wouldn't be as nice without that out-of-focus grass blade. Of course, would be great if you Photoshopped out the bridge in the back! I see you saved the best for last - #1. Okay so it doesn't look like her so much here, but that's the challenge that photographers have - you can either make someone look exactly like they do in real life, or make them look totally different. Try both! zeipher: Nice! tsunamiboy: Your shots seem to freeze motion pretty well in what looks like moderate light - so it can't be ISO100. porkchop: I have the Hoya HD and B+W filters - both also easy to clean what. |
