QUOTE(yuhi @ Mar 3 2011, 10:53 PM) The Tamron would get my vote. The sigma is too pricey compared to the tamron. If you want to buy a sigma I would suggest you get the 17-70mm which has an imba MFD of 20cm. Not yet le..nice ah??..solid built?..wat is its MFD?..and cheapest price on street? You tried the tamron b4? Its also damn nice |

guys...i read albnok review on Sony 30mm F2.8 Macro..it is so nice..now i dont know which to get..minolta 28mm F2.8, sony 35mm F1.8 or this Sony 30mm F2.8 Macro...
i personally feel that macro lens is a great choice..its 30mm very suitable for all round shooting..and i will be glad to use it for portraits.. my question, which give a better bokehness and image quality - full body portrait: 1) sony 30mm F2.8 macro @ wide open - F2.8 2) minolta 28mm F2.8 @ wide open - F2.8 3) sony 35mm F1.8 @ F2.2.. btw, that macro 1:1 feature is a bonus!!.. |

Yup..i made my choice d..just asking opinion only..scare later gt same price and better lens..xDYou've already eliminated the 28mm so left 30mm and 35mm. You've already said having macro is nice so the only choice left is the 30mm macro lens lor... QUOTE(kysham @ Mar 5 2011, 12:48 PM) I am not sure I can concentrate well enough to see which camera has less noise at high ISO.... Can also!..can use for bugs..nt all bugs will fly away when u go near it..example: caterpillar.. p/s: who said you can't shoot bugs macro with the 30mm f2.8 MACRO??? you just have to make sure the bug is dead or frozen before you shoot it.... albnok: that 50mm is a gift from my mum..and i like it very much..so definitely cant be sold off.. I will get 30mm macro.. This post has been edited by ahpingko: Mar 5 2011, 01:16 PM |
