lwliam: wa.... u make me so depressed as the 2nd user of the A100. XP

william, albert: aiya, i took some photos but i don have a computer with sufficient resolution to process the pics. XP I was trying to get the ring shape in ppl's eyeballs, but then it seems the face get underexpose to get the ring light well exposed. n i found out that the bottom part of the ring flash gets very dim compared the the sides.

test shots of ring flash on human(myself) XP my face seems to b over exposed. to get the face well exposed, i cant get the ring in my eye. XP


this is just to see how well distributed the light can b. the bottom part seems a little dim.

lwliam: I did put aluminium foils. dunno y can out to be like tat. Here's the well exposed version from my ring flash. will be working on a new ring flash this few days with softer material. hope everything go ok this time. XP

oh, no... shudn use masking tape for the ring flash, it's ripping off!! T.T

anyway, you guys know how long the fundamental flash workshop last?

newbieeeeee: sp60 is quite a new macro lens. supposedly i won 1 but then they gave me nikon mount, when i request for a change, they don have a-mount in malaysia. sp90 can b used as a portrait lens n macro lens, my 2 cents as i use it for both of this. 50mm on apsc would be better for portrait shooting, sp90 is a little tight for portrait on apsc to me.

chiahau: i think #1 a little too harsh. i like the light from the left in #2 but there's a little flare. i think if u use lower flash power level will get a better portrait for #2. my 2 cents

lwliam: the flare i meant is the bluish green thing on the left of the pic, around the black part of the background, just above the lucky draw wheel's shadow. XP

congrats all... for those who didn get the call (including me) means we still have a lot to improve. XP sama sama belajar n improve la...

ahpingko: wanna ask, ur flash pointing ceiling at wat angle for pic #1 and is pic #2's flash head at 0 degree but turn to right side?
