albert, didnt get to play with your 85 2.8 but instead i've tested tamron 70-200 2.8... talked to a few bros, they still confirmed that the 85 f2.8 is sharper than 70-200 (at 85 wide open)

tomorrow on leave go find uncle chin to test the 85mm f2.8 and also to pay for the 35 f.18
