6j is for the TRD rims

5.5j max can fit 195

195/55R15 ler, 195/60 more than 3%, will affect the speedometer
*
Actually hor... my plan is to increase tyre size by abit.. so highway can run higher speed same power... 1.6km/h faster only. lol~

ya, 5.5j can fit with 195 size tyre, some searching from unker G.

880 bucks consider a good deal.. I have had heard even more pricey on the market. One question bro.. Does foam induct higher fc?
*
Hmm...regarding the price I didn't know there are pricier...coz I thought KL Auto is the priciest smile.gif

But of coz we want everything to be doing it right at the first time right?

Regarding ur question...I don't feel my FC change at all even when I am in a track package now...the foam is really super light...yet hard...steering really got a lot of feedback and tighter...won't feel the car back "terbuang" when doing emergency switch lane now...

Bro, did u still remember how much u did for the sport package itself? Btw, u also did at kl auto?

Well the exact figure I couldn't remember...but I still have the receipts...I will try have a glimpse on it and reply you then k...

Yes I did it in KL Auto...perhaps you can give Desmond from KL Auto a call and see what is the latest promotion...it might be cheaper now with added sound proofing material combo with ur comfort or track package smile.gif

Those who are curious about the changes for current vios:

user posted image

Finally UMW has learn that most J spec owners changed their steel rims.. Good but very slow move (as usual) from UMW Toyota. shakehead.gif
Smoked headlamps are a nice touch.
New seat fabric - should be improved coz the old J-spec fabric is a pain to clean!
Dual airbags - i think they need to add more 'value' since the market is getting more competitive.
Grille is so-so, coz not everyone like the G-spec style.. but for J they dont use chrome instead of body-coloured?

Any idea what are these two sensors? how they usually work? Thanks.

i think tilt sensor is as what the name suggest... if somehow people tilt your car on one side... front.. back or sideway (for example jacking the car to steal your rims.. or worst your car...) the alarm will go blazing... correct me if i'm wrong..

my SA showed this to me once.. but it never happened again.. biggrin.gif

was at Toyota this afternoon... they showed to me the new pamphlet as well.. since the new price will be in effect soon...
now some of the SA is pushing to clear the stock of the old Vios model... cheaper with additional discount (RM1888 IIRC) for J version...

the SA comparing for me the additional features for J and the E version.. i also think that they J "upgrades" are worth it if you're looking for a new VIOS.... i'm also "thinking" of upgrading my J-Manual vios to the new version (J-Auto) hence my visit to Toyota Sales.. ;D

my 2cents worth..

Hi,

Anyone have idea how much the new Vios G rims price? planning to trade in for a 16" ... Please advice.

Also will stick in with my favorite Falken ZE912~~~

but if the price cost too much after trade the stock rims + tyre, maybe will drive with the stock tyre 1st. T_T

Add: Please also advice some rims same quality as the stock rim.
again, is for highway run.  thumbup.gif

with the current high price of tyres, i would say avoid 912 if possible.

its highly rated thread rating is misleading. As it is nowhere near what it promotes.

twitchy when driving wet roads. my stock rims dented. (tires not offering enough protection for it)

the last time i was quoted 220+ per piece, would rather add a little to get more "branded" tires.

Just my 2 cents. No offense blush.gif

Hi, i want to ask, the stock 15" 185/60 sport rim and tyres give the car enough traction and grip or not? enough to use or not?

*
the difference between the new Vios J spec and E spec as below:

1. Both having 15 inch alloy rims now (silver colored)

2. J will have new seat design in black color while E remain the current two-toned black and blue seat.

3. E will still remain have the fog lamps, while J doesn't have any fog lamps installed.

4. the radio is different for both J and E.

5. J will have dual air bags same like E.

6. J's back seat not able to fold, while E can.

7. J's signal lamp will be on the car body, for E it will be integrated with side foldable mirrors.

basically, not much difference, but the price difference between J and E is RM5k, for those who interested to buy but still dilemma between J or E, in my opinion J is more worth it.
