it might be the V-belt problem... changed once...
although it is using timing chain and it should last for life... but there is a 2 belts in the engine bay, aircond compressor and alternator if not mistaken...
i'm still service at SC... Vios '05... Full will definitely last longer loh.... service at 10k interval now...

there is so many grade / oil weight in the market. For me been using 5w30 and 0w30 on our vios engine so far no issue and my FC performance been improve compare to 10w40 oil weight.

yes understand your point, good auto oil maker does not need to run heavy oil weight such as 5w40, 10w40, or even 10w50 and 15w50.

i my schedule service interval is every 5000 km on full synthetic oil if i service at SC. this is cause i notice performance drop after 6000 km and long hour driving each time go out station.

for the current best API standart is API grade V, this normally API SN on the bottle sticker as previous is SM grade.

next round is racing oil as this grade have the best protection for engine wear and tear.
i been using Full syn all the time even on my manual GB...hehe

i done track package for my e-spec vios, it will improve NVH significantly, may I know what area you hope to improve?

Sorry if this a bit noob, my I know what is Retrofit mean? Ppl keep saying retrofit headlamp but I wonder what does that mean, readjust the headlamp? Smoke it??

I'm very tempted to change to Denso Iridium spark plugs, but heard that this will void the warranty, is this true? Coz I think spark plugs also considered performance part.

either TRD 15x6j rims at RM1700 or R3 16x7j at RM1950, both rims only



but 16" 195/50R16 only limited to falken 912
205 width all very expensive...

actually i tried before on my City VTEC... original is 185/55R15, i changed to 195/55R15 Primacy LC, can last quite long (80000km), just need to ensure proper pressure

cos i got some advice saying that after market rims not that tahan against potholes... highway drive still ok
