Hi everyone,

I am new in Vios. or should i say, might be vios owner in the near future. Still wondering between vios and city. Undecided.

I have a few question here about vios that i need to ask about. I heard that vios aerodynamic has problem. the car started to get unstable after you go till 140 something. is that true? Any solution to that? anyone have tried to fix it or not?

Also vios sound system nice or not? i am looking for nice original sound system car. the old version vios sound system quite nice, buy i don't know about the new one.

Please help provide me with your advices.

Thank You

define unstable? tongue.gif

it's a light car with slightly softer suspension setup, definitely it won't be as stable as an Estima...

anyway, i tried 140km/h some times i think it's quite ok (most probably i have some bars, so mine might not be a good benchmark), why not you go and test drive? feel it for yourself?
cos driving feel is very personal... different people have different feel towards handling and stability, NVH, etc...
i have a 16mm ARB and regretted not taking the 19mm, where as some people say 19mm is too stiff doh.gif

You have modified your suspension system already is it? well when i mean stable is that when the speed reach 140, the steering started to shake seriously which cause the car to be unstable.

City got 16" rims and paddel shifts, Vios don't have wor? smile.gif
Vios for touchscreen and reverse camera, City don't have wor? tongue.gif

decisions, decisions tongue.gif

what's your priority?

Added on June 12, 2012, 10:04 am
can share share the info or not? my PM is always open tongue.gif

that's why lor... makes me wonder sometimes (maybe regret?) if 19mm will be more suited for my driving style hmm.gif

i try not to push the car too much too, it's a jap and sub 100k... there's only so much it can do even with mods tongue.gif

Well the rim size is not such an issue to me. paddle shifts is an add-on advantage of city. I heard that facelift city is even going to have sunroof is that truth?

Touchscreen and reverse camera is also an option for me. the most important things for me is at least need to have USB and got bluetooth is the best as my phone is HTC One X which has beats audio to enhance the sound performance.

I will be driving from Penang island to mainland everyday so roughly calculate is about 60-65km travel range everyday. expecting economical FC lo. and i drive quite fast so need a better car to handle my driving skill lo. lolz...

Toyota Vios 3gen very ugly la. interior more worse. how can say nice leh?
i am not very into hybrid car. considering the second value of the car and the battery life and so on. also the car is a bit small.

well 15" and 185/60 is actually a very good combination already la. for the balance of fuel economy and car stability + comfort. so don't spend too much money on that as it will only cost you more in future.
