hi all sifus
1. Does this lagfix really help to eliminate the lag in the stock firmware, or better to install custom firmware as well? 2. The instructions for voodoo says to create a “disable lagfix” in the internal sd to disable it, and to reconvert the file sys to rfs. How to know whether the file sys is back to original? If I remove the “disable lagfix” file/folder it would not revert back to ext4 right? 3. After disabling lagfix, then can use kies to update the phone again right? thanks~~ |

If you remove the 'disable lagfix' folder, it will revert back to ext4 3) I don't think so, since your kernel is voodoo-fied This post has been edited by Fornaxlife: Feb 5 2011, 09:37 AM |

QUOTE(xmascat @ Feb 5 2011, 09:41 AM) 1) 2.2.1 1) custom rom is quicker and smoother due to tweaks 2) EH! means the uninstall is temp only ar? :S so if install custom roms like darky's also same thing la? cannot use kies update anymore after reflashing to stock firmware using odin? 3) alamak... lol 2) lagfix disabling is just temporary as long as you don't remove the 'disable lagfix' folder. er, there's no need for kies actually, can straight use odin to flash to stock firmware. to have to the stock kernel back, you'll have to flash to the stock firmware This post has been edited by Fornaxlife: Feb 5 2011, 09:46 AM |
