i download and install countless time, even just now to check again, nothing wrong with it... wink.gif

1.stop using any bloody download manager
2.recheck your downloaded file size with the size on the site
3.clear all your cache/cookies and download again using the browser.

hi all sifus tongue.gif i have a few questions bout voodoo lagfix, hope you all can advice~

1. Does this lagfix really help to eliminate the lag in the stock firmware, or better to install custom firmware as well?
2. The instructions for voodoo says to create a “disable lagfix” in the internal sd to disable it, and to reconvert the file sys to rfs. How to know whether the file sys is back to original? If I remove the “disable lagfix” file/folder it would not revert back to ext4 right?
3. After disabling lagfix, then can use kies to update the phone again right?

thanks~~

1) Which firmware are you on right now?
2) One way is to check your quadrant. If you remove the 'disable lagfix' folder, it will revert back to ext4
3) I don't think so, since your kernel is voodoo-fied laugh.gif

1) custom rom is quicker and smoother due to tweaks
2) lagfix disabling is just temporary as long as you don't remove the 'disable lagfix' folder. er, there's no need for kies actually, can straight use odin to flash to stock firmware. to have to the stock kernel back, you'll have to flash to the stock firmware

hmm.gif

1st gps lock took me around 5 to 6 minutes, then the rest of the time is almost instant, i tried locking in 2 secs... but really rare la XD

i tested it with a silicone case on... SGS gps antenna works fine with a casing, unlike DHD (muahahaha biased me)

wanted to try tegrak.. so disabled lagfix..

then while halfway backing up data, the phone hangs for like 20mins.. so i pull the battery and reboot..

and my phone lost all d apps.. reflashing just to get a fresh rom.. biggrin.gif

luckily did a backup.. feel like trying doc's rom but scared not used to it.. laugh.gif
