I find that I more ok/used to the original Samsung theme. The color scheme is nice. Do u guys think it's available somewhere in this world?
By the way, sifu taught me about root explorer. I can't find it in the market. Can I usw EZ explorer?
I download Diopen Chinese Input. Need to be placed at system folder. Can't find it, anybody know where is it?
(I'm on Darky ROM 9.2.)

i just restart my phone since i felt that it's becoming laggier than usual. usually it was fine.i'm on doc btw. went into recovery cwm, tried reboot from there, also tried advanced restoring the boot and system to no avail. i'm not really a tech savvy kind of person so pardon me if i'm talking rubbish here

before that, can anyone advice on how to remove/uninstall speedmod, or how to get back to the original kernel?

V9.0 is definitely smoother n snappier than v8.0. But for me, I don't c much difference between v9.0 and v9.2 in terms of smoothness.

Added on February 9, 2011, 2:30 pmMany moons ago I hd the same question whn I wanted to try speedmod. Let me tell u, once u tried speedmod, u don't ever want to go bck to original.
Can be done by using 7zip to extract the zImage n replace it. Some sifus here can guide u if u need to do it. But like I said, there is really no reason to go bck to original.

Use root explorer to find system folder. It's a paid app, so you need marketenabler to access paid apps. Unless you're looking for the cracked ver. Either way will do

I understand. Had the same concern too many moons ago. Now, not only on speedmod but customised rom, too.
Worse case whn u want to claim warranty, u can flash back to stock rom n ur original kernel will be back too.

using 13A..no more problems.

Last time I tried CM6.1 beta 2 or 3. The improvement in speed was nothing special but I did like the AOSP UI (lots of stuff that can be configured under Settings compared to Samsung ROM) - battery consumption was pretty bad, though.

With this CM7-Test, it's still a no go for me, due to these listed issues:

KNOWN BUGS (especially those I emphasized in bold)

- LQ Video Playback (overlay problem)
- Camera
- Polling problem on RIL (works after lock and unlock)
- 2G/3G toggle (works if no data connection is active)
- Compass (works not at 100%)
- USB sharing of external SD-Card
- commands: reboot recovery, reboot download (maybe not possible to implement)
- FM-Radio
- TV-Out
- Charging if Phone is powered off causes the phone to boot
- Random reboots, especially if wlan is enabled
