hi everyone.....i just got my inspira 1.8manual white......just wanna ask got any place that can convert the fullset evo X bodykits....cheap and good quality.....

in short, no such issues with my inspira..no pinging..fittings are as it is..etc etc..anyway, didnt see any update from the complainer, its been 3month since, somehow that fella went MIA, in which case makes me sceptical about his claims..

the absorber "nyek" sound is there, but very2 mild, and happened during early morning/cold/wet condition...which is odd to say the least..but shortly after a short drive, the sound is gone..thats about it..as someone mentioned before, its got something to do with the rubber seats at the spring/absorber area there...

just go do armchair research (read: Google!) about the characteristic of the 4B11/4B10 engine, its not the most quiet nor does it the most refined engine around (a bit louder, etc etc)..having said that, it is a good modern engine..

pinging is where the detonation inside the cylinder happened when it shouldnt be happening, meaning it gonna give u an effect of misfiring, small detonating sound (hence the name pinging), lack of responsiveness from the engine, jerky ride and other..and no, my inspira DOES NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM AT ALL...normally pinging happened when the compression ratio in the engine too high, or wrong air fuel mixture, wrong sparkplug temperature, bad fuel quality, etc etc....i tried Shell ron95, Shell Vpower, Petronas ron95&97, all seems fine..no pinging whatsoever...

thts why the small problems also i complain are as normal problems found in other makes.
go to any makes forum and see the problems encountered thread, then u knw how common it is to see all the prblems faced by respective car model owners.

There's no cheap and good quality bodykits. it is either you want fibre which is the cheapest, or the PP which is the closes to the original inspira/lancer GT bumper material.

whats riled me up is when ppl hear/read issues on proton car, they immediately jump around like mad waving their hands around (without even getting to the bottom of the issue)..

proton are in no way without it faults or flaws, however all cars have problem..just go around ask ur friends that use other car makes..checkout honda/toyota/kia/merc/beemer thread..see the owners complains about issues on their cars..

action to be taken? go to SC, lodged a proper complaint..claim warranty for it..(rather then whining around for nothing)..

Thats why I say those flame throwers all shallow fella lor.. join in to bash coz its so fun... If they google, lancer has the same issues and yes, mitsu engines are never designed to be quiet. That person who complain shud spent 30K more for the ori lancer then get the same problems. See if he dare write publicly to complain then. The pillar cover dropping is an isolated case ler.. but the bashers keep harping on it..

I am not a proton supporter but just being a little rational... if got money I go for bmw lor, but that comes with other issues too..

I know some of us and myself including, after reading many crap comments to put down inspira and proton is really uncalled for on the other thread. But I decided not to join in to clear up situation because I know it will be useless and pointless for me to do so. Trying to convince a hater to like proton/inspira is always a losing battle.

Also, they just comment like an expert after reading some negative post by someone whom they cannot even verify from the source if this is true or not. And actually how many of them have actually owned or tested the inspira properly to comment on such issues?

Even if the contents of the letter is 100% true that 6 out of 10 is having the exact same issue, like some of you've said, complaints will be pouring in left right and center of this thread or anywhere discussing inspira already.

Those of us that owns this car, really find it baffling that people that do not own the car are talking like experts when clearly they do not know what they are talking about.

So, the best way is to ignore them and let them have a go at inspira or proton or whatever they like until they are satisfied, meanwhile we just keep enjoying our car and enjoy modding it.

oic.....just ask for the bodykits price at aftertwelve rm2500 for front bumper and rear...want spoiler add another rm500 including spray and installing....and penang rainbow will be rm7+++k for full conversion(bonnet,fender,bumper front and rear,spoiler,side skirts,spray cat and installing---wide bodykit)....sorry cos i am just new to inspira family...just wanna get the cheapest one....i know it wont be cheap de....got anyone got install full evo x bodykit and mind to share the pricing...tq

Huh?? U got a LED torch that fits the hole?? Got pic??

Mine is a small, single AA battery LED torch... too loose for the hole and can even drop in....

In view of plenty of negative experiences and remarks on Inspira, SA, SC and other issues faced by Inspira owners, I am sharing here the GOOD and POSITIVE things about the above... lets not just bash and do give some praise where it's appropriate, shall we??

1. SO far, my car has been very pleasant and I have been a very happy owner... no issues with car (nyek nyek absorbers, screws in back seat, misaligned headlights or rear lamps, etc...) so I guess I am lucky, or at least the gamble to take the 1st batch was a good move??

2. Despite my booking of my car being in early December, I managed to get my InspiRED 2.0 in one month... and yes, I got the 2 yrs free service vouchers (i had help)...

3. In spite my rear lip spoiler have air bubbles, and having need to send the car into SC in less that 24 hours... they removed the lip, repainted it, and installed back in 2 days... and its all settled now...

4. AND... despite having the 2 years free service vouchers, my SA today even gave me more freebies.... Free Service Labor vouchers for 1000, 10000 and 20000 KM service... now just need to check if i can off-set this when I service my car during 5,000 and 15,000... who says there are no freebies in the world...

5. Ada lagi... today Proton Edar i-care called me, asking if I have any problems with the car, any unsettled issues, are you happy with the car??? Who says their service sucks??
