Locktech Pedal Lock information from Poadster (sh@rty5)

The build quality of the lock is very good, with solid and thick steel base.
Installation is quick (as the sifu seem very used to installing these locks) with minimal removal of parts (only the cover below the steering wheel is removed). The lock base is screwed into the chassis (I cant see from outside as the installer had to twist and contour his body to slide under the dashboard) and tightened with 3 screws. Finally, the ignition cut-ff is placed by "plug and play" to the existing socket, and the cover is replaced.
Using the lock is really simple, just pull the handle till it clicks and its done. This will then prevent the brake pedal to be fully depressed and prevents the gear shifter from being moved from P (brake pedal shift lock system).
For more security, you can engage the second lock by depressing it in. Unlocking is done in reverse, if double locked - the depressed lock must be unlocked first as the "handle" lock will not be released. The "handle" lock will snap return to the base (spring loaded) once unlocked, and the brake pedal can be fully depressed.
The ignition cut off works as indicated. You can still turn the ignition switch to "ON" but the starter wont come on "ACC" if the lock is in place.
All in, its worth install the lock as it will add another theft prevention security to your car, and most importantly with minimal installation hassle and no "reworking" of any existing car wiring that could void your warranty.
Price: RM2XX (other places I have surveyed - RM350 - 400 for double lock, RM300 - 350 for single lock) Quality: Solidly built with thick and heavy steel. 3 pcs of keys provided. Value for money: 4.5 of 5

dark, may I suggest you separate the owners that has officially gotten the car, while the rest is put in another list awaiting delivery. Hope you can do this when you have the time
Those of the new owners please speak out and have your names added to the list.
I think mosar should post the link to the FB group for easier access for everybody. I found 2 groups of Inspira, dont know which one is which.
Cheers!

interest? naah..nothing for personal profits nor is there any ulterior motive...as far as im concerned, you or Firedauz can create the FB Group, and i'll gonna join it..reason im suggesting/creating the FB group is for the soul purpose of sharing info for gathering (location/time/date..espc when there's last minute change, etc)...it gonna be much much more convenient to get updated info as FB is easy to access via mobile devices..forum thread on the other hand, not so much..on PC yes..on mobile phone, no...
Next TT when arr?? Lets make it a TT + drive about KL/PJ.... sure fun...
Dude. Why don't you do the honour of organising the next tt and joyride? Sure fun. Do it especially around the festive breaks so that there's less cars on KL/PJ roads so we can enjoy the breeze
Yeah!!

Bro mosar. I know you have kind intentions. Really do appreciate it. I couldn't agree more about the convenience FB provides. Some people will start new FB pages or forums because they are not happy or disgruntled with existing ones. And I don't blame them sometimes. Tolerability and give and take is important. Some follow their whims and fancies rather than their brains so this is the end result.

Can.... next week drive balik kampung up north... with a few TT breaks along R&R... amacam???
I say lets do a fixed TT first (each Fri, same location each time) so to get the comradeship and fellowship... then start talks on a real club formation with official status and ROS registrations and committee and etc...
For now, all we are are a bunch of owners and enthusiasts that visits and posts in online forums...
