QUOTE(Poadster @ Jan 29 2011, 01:47 PM) Can.... next week drive balik kampung up north... with a few TT breaks along R&R... amacam??? Support, though would be hard for me to join on weekends. Haha, most busy on weekends.I say lets do a fixed TT first (each Fri, same location each time) so to get the comradeship and fellowship... then start talks on a real club formation with official status and ROS registrations and committee and etc... For now, all we are are a bunch of owners and enthusiasts that visits and posts in online forums... No offense intended to anyone... QUOTE(kwokwah @ Jan 29 2011, 05:08 PM) Booked on 3/12/10, registered on 7/1/11 (2.0P). Done 1,000km service yesterday, all irritating noises resolved. All? Did you have problems with your absorbers? resolved too? |

QUOTE(mystvearn @ Jan 31 2011, 05:45 AM) Few questions to Inspira owners here: 1. For the manual, shouldn't be long, but it's best your check with your SA as cars are allocated by branch basis, so if a certain branch is popular an has many bookings, then yours might take longer to arrive.1. How long does it take from booking to obtaining car (if your finance is secure for the car)? 2. Is it possible to put climate control AC in 1.8l Manual? 3. What is this "Solar and Security tinted film" I see in the specs? VKool? 4. There is no USB-input audio right? Can't find it in the spec sheet of the car. 5. I think Solid White/Red is better than the Metallic version of the same paint. Anyone has pictures of both to compare? 2. Anything is possible. Since it is in the 2.0, I'm sure you can retrofit it in, but if what you mean is, is it an option frm proton, then no, it's not. 3. As mentioned above, ecotint. Apparently a very high spec one too. 4. Yes, tehre is no USB audio. There is auxilary in and bluetooth. 5. There is no metallic white. No idea about the red ( = |

QUOTE(mystvearn @ Jan 31 2011, 05:23 PM) Thanks all for the reply to the question. The temp sensor holes are still there in my 1.8 manual. so no modifying of the dash is required, but you will need new knobs, and the wiring will be affected.I forgot that the Auto climate AC cannot be retrofitted as you need to modify the dash or wherever the temp sensor is located. So thats not an option, unless proton makes it as an option. Join for TT, that will be some time in the future |

QUOTE(kaizou @ Feb 1 2011, 12:11 PM) Sorry Guys, forget to snap the pre-installation picture. here's the result tho. Cool, where di you get the tyres? Chop shop?Picture after the space-save install. need to add some cushion (white polisterine) at the screw. [attachmentid=2025605] The boot condition after installation. u can see the extra space between the rear seat and bonnet floor. [attachmentid=2025606] The new spare still a bit thicker thus resulting to uneven bonnet floor. perhaps need to add something more...maybe thick sound insulator/damper to even it? [attachmentid=2025607] QUOTE(azxel @ Feb 1 2011, 12:22 PM) the back passenger seats still too soft ? I remember sitting in the back during one of their roadshows... could feel something sticking up my arse.. hope they rectified that I don't find the rear seats too soft at all. Neither did my passengers. I have no idea where this comes from. Maybe if you're 100kg...QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Feb 1 2011, 06:34 PM) Today finally got my 18" rims that I've been dreaming about just nice and in time for the holidays, and it burnt a big hole in my wallet, Pictures! |

What are the negatives of using replica rims? Structural integrity? Weight? Precision of manufacturing?
Don't think I'll get them, but now's a good time to learn in case in the future hehe. This post has been edited by RahXeph0n: Feb 2 2011, 12:35 PM |

Rims are nice, but I think I've decided if I were to change rims, it would be 18", and I don't want to spend that money now. Cash in the bank I want to use to reduce my future house loan, so I can have more choices. All nice units usually around 300k and above now where I am, so an extra 30-40k would really help in opening up what units I can choose. Otherwise 250k and below all either old ones, or less than 800sqft >.<
After CNY, I'll do UR bar for the front strut, and maybe spoiler, that's it |

Indeed. Can't figure out why people keep asking "when mivec open" haha. It's quite smooth and progressive, which is probably what the engineers wanted and planned for.
