Happy holidays everyone, though it is coming to an end... but we all enjoyed our rides well.

Kena cucuk by a red lansi in Malacca. Was casually passing on the fast lane and he was on the left lane.. suddenly he come chasing me from behind.. (haiz.. lansi owners mentality really sucks). I was cruising faster n faster but I had to let it go coz wasn't familiar with the kampung roads there n was with family members. Anyway I got nothing to proof coz both practically same car. Then a mod wira also did the same. What's with all these f*** up ppl? Did 180km/h runs on highways though with everything stock standard. Cool..

And yes, many ppl looking at my car coz inspira is still a very rare car on the road... Did not see other inspiras but a few lansi...

Do you mean they actually screw both sides of the number plate to the bumper? Wont that damage the bumper and the paint job? As far as I know there are two holes in the center for screw, but not the sides, both sides of my number plate is also kind of sticking out and not following the bumpers curvature
*
Mine is the same.. unless make new holes by adding screws urself. Will wait for someone to create the curved back plastic plate. Tonite got TT in PJ?

Ya, Inspira sure rock  rclxms.gif

With good care and maintenance, it's going to be a superb car  tongue.gif

But, the car still attract lots of attention rclxub.gif

Once on the NS highway, an Audi TT really tt behind,
pull down speed to 80km/j to let it pass still want tt behind, haiyo  rclxub.gif

We will soon out number the lancers... biggrin.gif Say us copycats, how abt them copycat to Evo X? Evo X owners also never say anything...
So there is no difference in principle if lancer or inspira covert to evo X bodykit rite? But we pay abt 23K lesser... (lgx now offer at 113K only) but no auto cruise or rain/light sensor, also smaller rims.

not spring & not absorber, but the rubber problem. When i change to eibach spring its come complete with rubber. confirm the rubber for absorber cover to tight & make "nyek" sound.
*
How is the ride now? Harsher? Lowered? What's the damage to ur wallet? smile.gif

On HID, I am gonna cut out that article and keep in the car.. Only thing now is how to proof mine is 4300K? Not every roadblock has a device to test. Depends on luck la.. Those cars come factory fitted with HID are usually rated at 4300K, so it has to be declared "legal' by JPJ (no choice).. So maybe that's why they say 4300K is legal.. sigh.

basically, before they can surrender the car to you, what needs to be processed? I will bug my SA very soon.
*
Go bug ur SA tom, ask him fetch u to JPJ, register for owner is very fast (mine done in 10 mins) then go back to showroom with the documents, they process some documents internally then wala.. can take car liao.

Proton should know the problem, They will call back our Inspira to solve the problem. I just change the spring(eibach) only. bit lowered. good drive & cornering.
*
Now that you changed the setup, will you still be able to claim warranty/fix? Ur new setup also changed that bump rubber? If so, then the problem may not be the rubber after all.

QUOTE(ckk125 @ Feb 17 2011, 11:36 PM)
anyone changed their small parking light to white colour? what is the bulb size and what brand can use?
*
T10 - available in most accessory shops. Can DIY also, but your hands gotta be small and agile to reach it.. turn the knob, pull it all the way out. Its a long mounting "tube" with the bulb in the end.

QUOTE(Poadster @ Feb 18 2011, 01:16 AM)
Actually I found out that not all owners were given that plastic bag...

And not all "sealed" emergency kit bag had the LED torchlight...
*
Luckily I got them all, the jack hand extension, LED & the batteries smile.gif That long hook is for towing.

that post is from Inspiraclub.

People tend to believe what they read... If what he say is true, don't you think this thread with be filled with similar complains (51 pages, 4th edition)? So far most common complain is the bump rubber sound in the morning. Those ppl who reply to that thread just ride on the wave to bash proton.. hahaha.. such shallow ppl. Do you all think other makes has no issues? Just that the owners malu to post it after paying so much to avoid proton.

First batch are not lab pigs.. they get the most from mmc. Its basically a CKD version of lancer. If it is so bad, blame it on mmc ler..
Cannot comment on the later batch though.

Actually this thread is slowing down, not much complains to post, mostly are poison postings.. chg rims, add spoiler, do sound proof, HU, etc..

whats riled me up is when ppl hear/read issues on proton car, they immediately jump around like mad waving their hands around (without even getting to the bottom of the issue)..

proton are in no way without it faults or flaws, however all cars have problem..just go around ask ur friends that use other car makes..checkout honda/toyota/kia/merc/beemer thread..see the owners complains about issues on their cars..

action to be taken? go to SC, lodged a proper complaint..claim warranty for it..(rather then whining around for nothing)..
*
Thats why I say those flame throwers all shallow fella lor.. join in to bash coz its so fun... If they google, lancer has the same issues and yes, mitsu engines are never designed to be quiet. That person who complain shud spent 30K more for the ori lancer then get the same problems. See if he dare write publicly to complain then. The pillar cover dropping is an isolated case ler.. but the bashers keep harping on it..

I am not a proton supporter but just being a little rational... if got money I go for bmw lor, but that comes with other issues too.. tongue.gif

Added on February 19, 2011, 1:52 amTo bro XCInspire, nice to meet you and have you at our TT... hope you become a regular...

Just recalled why there's gaps in the back seat bights (the joint between the seat and the back)... the four holes are ISOFIX child seat points, for you to secure an isofix child seat to the car (the metal bar u see n touch in the hole) and its more secure than using the seat belts...

The holes do have a purpose...!! Thus the holes are there irregardless of model, fabric or leather...
*
Hello again.. Yes nice meeting you and the others. Thanks for the effort finding out what those gaps are. Initially thought my passengers so heavy until koyak.. Ha ha ha..

Tt with u guys need to turn on anti poison mode la.. but nevertheless hope to join the tt regularly.

Even i met 1 guy who after see my car said to his fren,  'inspira use old engine from mitsubishi'... i just kept quiet and let him did his very ' cocky talk'

Added on February 21, 2011, 1:06 pm
When u see the engine graph then u know why..  and it better like that so that if u stress ur engine to much  (Revv to high) ur engine's lifespan will be short.

Revving too high at long period of time will increase engine temperature. At that temp, many engine component start to melt. Which is not good to ur pocket money.
*
The guy probably one of those proton basher who know nuts abt cars... everywhere u turn, u will find one; whom probably drives a proton too...

If u all want something more powerful.. get the Evo X lor.. biggrin.gif but for me this car is more than adequate for daily use. thumbup.gif

alot of people want to see proton dead, then they can buy cheaper cars (in their dreams), so they will spread false info around like they know proton inside out, I have a friend condemn the car without even test driven it, he even went to the extend to say Inspira suck because it's assembled by locals, so you have pure haters regardless if proton assemble anything good or not, he is also too proud to walk into proton showroom to test it, so maybe I should give him a demo on the highway vs his toyota
*
"say Inspira suck because it's assembled by locals," Gee.. suddenly I wonder if your friend is a malaysian to condems his own kind... tongue.gif

Guys, we should not go so low to reply to unescessary postings and concentrate on poisoning! The tin kosong banyak bising la...

Huge, deeper than waja... someone poisoned us last Fri TT with his huge boot... If you want to simulate this, remove the current spare tire and the raised foams. Then place back the board n carpet. (p/s remember to put back ur spare tire after oogling at the space..).
