Hi All,
Is the 5x TP given plus 5% cashback given on all purchases?

Eg. A purchase on an item cost RM100. So does that mean 5% cashback plus 500 TP?

Thanks. notworthy.gif

yes for all purchases, however someone at my blog posted that she checked with CS and as informed that the 5% cash back not applicable for online transactions. Click below link and go to bottom to read comments.

Hi bro Gen-X,
Thanks for your reply and recommendation. Just saw from your blog that Direct Access do not extend cash rebate for petrol anymore. shakehead.gif I have one more question. If I would like to apply for this card, showing an existing Cr Card & IC should be sufficient to apply for it rite? hmm.gif

Thanks notworthy.gif

Yes, it is sufficient. But generally, your existing card must be more than 12 months.

Finally, I have received the balance of 10x MR points owed by Amex for the 10x MR promotion run from April to July 2010. It took 6 months for Amex to deposit the points in full. sweat.gif

Sometimes, posting date is a few days after the transaction date, depending on when the merchants submit the transaction details. I did come across a posting date which was a month later than the actual transaction date.

AMEX posted very fast, can see the next day (transaction and posted date the same day) compared to VISA/Mastercard at least 2 days only can see.

You are wrong. As what I mentioned, it depends on merchants. Also, the 1-month gap for posting and transaction dates that I experienced was actually from my Amex Gold cc.

I used at Parkson, MPH, Shell, Caltex, DiGi, all same day.
Etiqa next day.
Ebay 3 days.
So I conclude that it take almost same day compares to VISA/Mastercard at least next day posted.
