Just checked. Received RM150 Cash back in full for i spend few Ks in 1U at around 16-Dec-2010.

And plan to switch to Maybankard2 but do I need to clear my outstanding balance and MR points only I can apply for the 2cards? Or I can do balance transfer to the Maybankard2?

If changing, mostly I can avoid RM50 GST and I m gonna miss the design of the Amex Gold CC. I quite like the Amex GCC compare to MBB2.

I have been thinking if one has spent e.g. RM10K in one goal on his AMEX, can he request the customer service to convert this RM10K as an installment? Has anyone tried it?

I doubt that could even be possible since no such facility is advertised.

As David mentioned No.

but for MBB Visa and Mastercard can convert to insrtallemt however MBB charges 9%. the plan is called Ezypay, click link below:

Best alternative is as winner said, do BT.

@Gen-X,

That facility from Maybank is called EzyPay Plus. EzyPay is not the normal 0% installment initiated at the point of sale at merchant side.

I have already calculated my TPs and the findings are as follows:

a) I spent RM60 on petrol and RM64 on grocery at hypermarket last weekend.
b) The total TPs I received for these 2 transactions is 684.
c) Based on the 684 TPs, I guess petrol @ 5x TPs = 60 x 5 = 300 TPs and hypermarket @ 6x TPs = 64 x 6 = 384 TPs; totalling 684 TPs.

M2U removed the TreatPoints viewing from the AMEX CC Summary screen...
I guess they found their "mistake"
