Regarding changing the Maybankard 2 Visa to Mastercard later in Apirl, I have been talking to 2 CS this week and both of them said not possible; meaning I have to terminate the current Maybankard 2 AMEX/Visa and re-apply for Maybankard 2 AMEX/Mastercard. doh.gif

Just want to know I currently using Maybank Visa Petronas Gold and applying Maybankard 2 Amex & Visa... Are the cards limit share? or each has different card limit?

I wanted the Maybankard 2 Mastercard but now its on Visa, can i change later to MAstercard?
*
Yes. However MBB are MBB Islamic CC credit limit are separate, I guess this is because they are separate entities i.e. BNM issue separate license for Islamic Banking.

Maybe all these 7 locations uses Maybank EDC Terminals ;-)
No. Of all the seven different places i used my AMEX in, only Sakae Sushi KLCC is using Maybank EFT POS terminal. The rest are either using the EFT POS terminals from Public Bank (Kinokuniya), CIMB Bank etc.
Used my Maybankard 2 AMEX at 5 different places yesterday and all have already been posted to my M2U. Only Carrefour Mid-Valley is using the Maybank EFT POS terminal whilst the rest are using Citibank's, CIMB's, UOB's etc rclxms.gif

if this is the case, then it would be much easier. cos just replace visa with master...
if need to cancel amex/visa just for the master then I mght just keep the visa.

Anyone tried transferring all the Utilities Bill Express Pay from Maybank AMEX gold CC to AMEX card 2?

Does AMEX card 2 accept Express pay with 5X treat points?

You should use your Maybankard 2 Amex today and tomorrow, instead of yesterday, to fully enjoy the 5% cash back.

Anyway, my spending from Maybankard 2 Amex has already hit the cash back cap of RM50 this month. I will still continue using it because of the 5x TPs, which can easily beat other cards.

Yeah, read about they pre-approved the card. I missed a call from 03-xxxx6222, tried to call back but could not call in. Not sure if this is from Maybank.

I have just discovered that one of my transactions with Maybankard 2 Amex last week have different transaction and posting dates. The posting date is 2 days after the transaction date. This is the tricky part of the 5% cash back, as we have no idea on whether the 5% cash back on weekend is based on transaction date or posting date.

Had no choice. Was in KL for just 2 nights this month. Came back to KK just a few hours ago. Anyway, i am sure i can achieve the RM50 cash back for this month as i am going to charge RM1k+ to my card next Saturday tongue.gif

I did not notice any discrepancy in my Maybankard 2 AMEX transaction history, not yet anyway and hopefully i will never face such issue.

Will that means another RM50 GST will be charged when you terminate the Visa n apply for Mastercard?

Very high possibility since can be considered as a new card is being applied for.

I think nobody knows about this since the 5% rebate is not even in yet.
